5 of 5 Plug and Play Monday, October 26, 2009
Bonnie Tang from San Diego, CA

The wifi signal in our family room is not strong since the wireless router is in another room far away. When we used a laptop and the TV in the family room to watch some online stream, there were some glitches once in a while. We bought this device recently and my husband only took a couple of minutes to hook it up between the router and the family room. Now it's perfect to watch online stream.

5 of 5 Perfect for extending Internet access Monday, October 26, 2009
    c_valley from Del Mar, CA
I can't believe it's so so easy to set up! It literally took me less than 5 minutes to 1). connect each modem to the coax (to home cable connector on wall plate), 2). connect each modem to Ethernet cable (in 1 room to my internet router's Ethernet port, in the other room to my old PC's network port) 3). connect power adapter to both modems and plug in AC power adapter to wall sockets. In only a few seconds, both modems showed green lights, which means that they have successfully established a link thru the coax cable. Now my kids can use my old computer (which has no Wireless capability) to access internet. And the internet speed is super fast. I'd say Netgear made a good consumer product. I wish all consumer electronic products are like this easy to install.

5 of 5 There's no holes in my walls Friday, October 23, 2009
Happy in San Diego from San Diego, CA
When my kids wanted to play XBox online, I had 3 options. 1) Wireless. 2) Drill holes for RJ45 cable and crawl into my attic & under my house. 3) Try the MoCA box my neighbor suggested. 1) Didn't work 2) Not that handy with tools 3) Worked like a charm These units worked great! It made life a lot easier.

5 of 5 I can now watch Hi quality netflex streaming Friday, October 23, 2009
Heather M. from San Diego, CA
I got this as a gift and hooked 1 box up to my router and the other to my Roku Box. Now the video quality is consistently very good. Instead of the spotty performance I was getting on WiFi. Great product, but could be cheaper.

5 of 5 Use it to extend my home network Tuesday, October 20, 2009
    hleung168 from San Jose, CA
My children have many gadgets in their room, Play station, PCs. And they play video games against each other and stream video through the WiFi connection. Thus slow down my laptop connection a lot. So, this turn out to be perfect. I use the cable outlets and set up a wired network among their stuffs. Thus remove a lot of traffic from the WIFI. Setup is extremely easy, just follow the instruction and hook up all the cable.

    5 of 5 Go MoCA Wednesday, September 30, 2009
A Customer from San Diego, CA
I used these devices to extend the broadband connection to a room wihtout Ethernet connection. It only took taking the units out of the box, connecting them, and turning the power on. When I got to the computer to check the connection I was allready connected. Performance seems the same as direct ethernet connection (100 BASE-T).

5 of 5 Latte or a Moca? Moca please! Sunday, September 27, 2009
Another satisfied customer from Charlotte, NC
I bought these as a gift for my sister's family to do broadband network extension since WiFi couldn't cut it due to distance and speed. Below is her husband's commentary on the product & install: Installation was easy, except for light for coax LED did not come on as Verification step suggested. It came on after the 2nd unit was connected. Internet access was not immediately available until a couple of tries of hooking it up. This unit was purchased to allow my son to move upstairs and across the entire house, without having to run Ethernet cable. This was amazing! My son says the gaming speed is now faster than it was on Ethernet cable. Happy teen and happy dad who got his office back!

5 of 5 Netgear Moca adapters work great! Saturday, September 19, 2009
    PC from Florida
I bought a pair of Netgear Moca adapters recently for my Tivo DVR. My Tivo DVR was using a Wifi adapter to access the Internet. However, the connection became extremely flakey ever since I switched out my router to a new one. The connection with the Wifi adapter got so bad that I could not watch a 10-minute video clip from Tivo's Netflix "watch instantly" feature. So I decided to switch over to Moca because I heard it was very high performance and robust. The set up took a little bit of time because the adapters came with a funky setting (but I was able to change it quickly). The Tivo Internet connection using Moca has been solid and Netflix viewing is a total pleasure now! Great product, Netgear! I also love the sleek design and the LED-off feature. When is the multiple port Moca adapter coming? I want to connect my Blu-Ray player to it now!
