10 screws for mounting XD2 devices to the back of LCD monitors
You need to supply the PC, application software, PS/2 keyboards/mice, speakers, monitors, Category 5e or Category 6 STP cables, and any other peripherals.
With one X550 kit you can have six users share one PC. Add a second kit and you can have eleven users share one PC as shown below.
Installation is simple. Install the PCI card into an open slot. Next, plug one end of each cable into the card and the other end into an NComputing XD2 access device. Even though standard Category 5e UTP or Category 6 STP cables are used, they don’t carry Ethernet signals. (That’s why they can’t be longer than 5 or 10 meters, respectively.) The cables do supply the power—as well as the monitor, keyboard, mouse, and audio signals—to the access device. That means no separate power adapters, which you’ll find incredibly convenient. Now connect the keyboards, monitors, and mice to the NComputing access devices. If you need USB peripherals, simply connect them to the computer and our software will let you assign each device to an individual user.
Power up the system and install the vSpace software. You now have six users sharing one computer. Install a second X550 kit and you get eleven users on 1 PC.
