Features: DVD On the way to cover an assignment for his paper, The Los Angeles Sun, reporter Tim O’Hara stumbled upon a Martian whose one-man ship had crashed on earth. Tim took the dazed Martian back to his rooming house to help him recuperate, while thinking of the fantastic story he would be able to present to his boss, Mr. Burns, about his find. The Martian, however, looked human, spoke English, and refused to admit his identity to anyone but Tim. Tim befriended him, passed him off as his uncle, and had many an interesting adventure with the stranded alien. This DVD includes VHS volumes 3 and 4 on one disc. Episode 1: Man Or Amoeba — Martin helps Angela write her science report. Stating that there is life on Mars, the paper receives a failing grade. An insulted Martin works some telepathy on her professor that just may improve her grade and speed the pace of modern science. Episode 2: The Man On The Couch — L.A. heat waves are hell on Martians, so Martin lifts off to the top of a water tower for some fresh air. Mistaken for a suicidal jumper, he is taken to a psychiatric ward where, with no problems of his own to discuss, he ends up analyzing the psychiatrist. Episode 3: A Loaf Of Bread, A Jug Of Wine And Peaches — On a quest for this mysterious thing called love, Martin falls for an exotic dancer who just wants an honest relationship. Having lost control of his emotions, he ends up telling her the truth about everything – including the fact that he’s from Mars! Episode 4: The Awful Truth — Taught by Martin to read minds for a day, Tim breaks the story of a crooked councilman. A new promotion turns scary when he realizes that he’ll have to do his job without the ability to read minds. However, losing his temporary powers seems to improve matters with his girlfriend Daphne. In love, sometimes ignorance is bliss.
