Few of the tracks are that naughty. They're more like leering glances and best for those who don't care for the bombastic, four-on-the-floor style of someone like Lords of Acid. Club kids with taste get plenty of soundtrack for their next roll around in glitter and grass, the usual postcoitus residue that sticks to festival-attending youngsters as the clever cover points out. Label Ultra does a great job of selecting the tracks with a bunch of respected names appearing next to exciting songs from newcomers. Only the most highbrow backpacker would want to shag to the earnest "Midnight Marauders," and it's easy to giggle during the hiccup vocals on "Body Speaking," but little else will disrupt your groove. Alan Smithee's "In Blue Blackness" is an undiscovered house gem, but it's near the end of the second disc, so get your protein and think of baseball. ~ David Jeffries | Producer: Dolphin Boy; Robert Larow; Christopher "Mu" Faiumu; Bacon; Magnus Zingmark; Daniel Wyatt; Dallas Tamaira; Oscar Simonsson; A Guy Called Gerald; Ilhan Ersahin; Ralf Droesemeyer; Jake Wherry; Nova Nova; Ollie Teeba; Swell Session; Vikter Duplaix; Vladislav | Engineer: Dolphin Boy; Paul Moss; Ludovic Llorca |
