| | Professional Reviews | Sight and Sound "...A lot of fun. The sets are detailed and charming..." 02/01/1993 p.51-2USA Today "...The specter effects are enchanting, especially the angelic Ghost of Christmas Past whose gown floats about her like a cloud of frosty air..." 12/11/1992 p.4D Chicago Sun-Times "...Like the earlier three Muppet movies, it manages to incorporate the Muppets convincingly into the action....This time, they even seem to belong in Victorian London, created in atmospheric sets that combine realism and expressionism..." 12/11/1992 p.43 Chicago Sun-Times 7 of 10 Caine is the latest of many human actors (including the great Orson Welles) to fight for screen space with the Muppets, and he sensibly avoids any attempt to go for a laugh. He plays the role straight, and treats the Muppets as if they are real. It is not an easy assignment...Caine, whose technical skills on screen are the equal of any actor's, does as well as he can under the circumstances. The movie, directed by Brian Henson, son of the late Muppet creator Jim Henson, follows the original fairly faithfully. Like the earlier three Muppet movies, it manages to incorporate the Muppets convincingly into the action; we may know they're puppets, but usually we're not much reminded of their limited fields of movement. - Roger Ebert

5 of 5 Awesome Movie! Monday, December 25, 2006 Mark M. from Tulsa, Ok
I've always loved the Muppets (I even have a Kermit the Frog puppet), but I could never find a copy of the Muppet Christmas Carol. When I saw it here, I couldn't resist buying it, and for such a great price!
