Mr. Coffee 12-Cup Programmable Brew Strength Selector Coffeemaker - Red

This is easy to use, easy to clean, and it makes good coffee. I especially like the built-in permanent filter; in the past, other permanent filters have worked so-so, but this one is well-made. The only thing I'd change is making the clock digital instead of analogue, but that's a minor point. Another reviewer said that it makes weak coffee. I like my coffee REALLY strong, and I have no complaints. There's even a button to choose regular strength or strong coffee.

very good for the price. Makes good coffee. The brew strength selection is a little different from other ones I have had with that feature. It is only a two position selection...regular and strong. Most I have had were a variable position slide switch that gave you a little more control on the brew strength. But, like I said I'm satisified with the coffee it makes. The square basket weirded me out a little at first, but it seems to work well. The only real complaint I might have is that it keeps moisture sealed up inside really well. So after you get done with your coffee you really need to take the basket assembly out and let it air dry. Otherwise it will still be completely soaked from the previous day. I can only imagine the growth you could get in the filter if you let it stay soaked the entire time. The coffeemaker is completely usable without the filter by the way unlike other models where you have to use the filter assembly or the maker will not work. It makes good coffee with or without it I think (using filtered water from my fridge). Overall very satisifed with it for the price.

I now have to use 2x more grounds to make a tasty cup of coffee vs my old simple drip maker. Nice features though -
