We have Avaya Partner systems in our workplace, and we wanted to add music on hold without running afoul of copyright or legal issues. After researching, I concluded that the OHP 8000 was the best deal. It runs on MP3's, so no moving parts to break down. The USB stick provided is pre-loaded with 7 different royalty-free mp3 files, each about 30 minutes long, and each with a different genre of music: Jazz, Acoustic, Contemporary, etc. The music has voice-overs that play about every minute or so with professional sounding messages, such as "Thank you for holding. Someone will be with you in just a moment." The manufacturer will also send you a simple voice-over that includes your business name in the title, no cost.
We just bought our second one for our other office. These were easy to set up, very rugged looking, and should last a long time. We are pleased with our purchase. And buy.com has the best price I could find. Was this review helpful?
