Motorola has developed a sensible, friendly answer. Introduce yourself to the Motorola S9 Bluetooth Stereo Headset. MOTOROKR S9 integrates wireless Mobile Music and calls with unmatched lightweight design. Behind-the-head wearing style, preferred for top comfort and stability, combines with music and call selection from the headphones. At barely an ounce and very discreet, the MOTOROKR S9 is music to your ears with a wearing style that will make you forget you have them on. Probably lighter than your sunglasses, delight yourself and enjoy. Behind-the-head wearing style provides a comfortable and stable fit. Specially designed materials and small ear buds (13mm) great for extended use. Water and sweat resistant, it's also an ideal exercise partner. So rock, swing, and hop to the music then walk and talk to phone calls with your Bluetooth cell with the MOTOROKR S9 stereo headset. It's almost like being in love.

I like this headset very much. It has great sound and there was no trouble with the bluetooth pairing to my LG Venus phone. The sound is excellent and I've had none of the previous reported static or connection dropping I read about the previous version.
My only complaint is the earpieces are a little large for me and make my ears hurt after an extended period if I wear them as intended tightly in the ear. Also, since this goes over your ear, if you wear glasses, you may have a conflict with the headset and glasses both coming over your ears from different directions unless you remove your glasses to listen to music. i've been using the motorokr s9 with my razr v9m and my ipod with jabra bluetooth adaptor and i was impressed with how easy it was to connect to either. sound quality is very good. occasionally loses the connection and have to restart the headset to reestablish. not sure why it does this, and fortunately doesn't do this very often. for my head, the fit is very comfortable, and stays in place during exercise. i haven't challenged the battery life yet, so can't comment on this. overall, not perfect but very good. 4 of 5 Motorola S9 Friday, November 30, 2007 G from Ohio
I have an LG phone and for whatever reason I sometimes have trouble getting the phone to recognize and connect to the headphones. When they do connect however, it is awesome! The headphones sound very good, plenty loud and fit and feel great. Especially when jogging or working out. The only other problem that I can think of is that the only user feedback on the headphones is a single light that changes colors to tell you what it is currently doing or what you need to do to get it to work. The colors and blink sequences are a little confusing. Range of the bluetooth is great anywhere on body. Overall, I love the headphones. Was this review helpful?

These headphones are pretty good...I was expecting a little better quality of sound...I actually ordered the Version 2 and think I got version 1, yet haven't seen anything to indicate the difference other than a part number??? They were relatively easy to pair with my BBerry Curve 8300 and also with my iPod Nano via the Anycom Bluetooth Adapter I purchased...However, I have run into some issues when switching back and forth between the 2 and have to disable and enable bluetooth on my phone sometimes more than once...I run and bike quite a bit and they haven't let me down yet, although I worry that when it gets warmer, my sweat will short the earpieces! It seems a little bulky behind the neck, but as long as you rest it on your neck or on the collar of your apparel while running, you hardly notice it (I haven't run without a running jacket with a collar yet). The buttons are very difficult to maneuver, but come in very handy when switching from listening to music to answering the phone - volume up and down as well as play/pause and skipping forward and backward amongst songs comes in very handy - if you can find the right button...I've had several calls on it with no complaints on the other end and every call has arrived while I was either running or biking! Overall, I bought these to FREE me from wires, and I have succeeded in doing so...I can't say I'm blown away, but defenitely pleased...Neither of the sizes of earpiece fit my ears and I wish there were some other choices included in the package - the larger ones work, but don't fit all the way in for optimal listening...Oh, and as a side note, these arrived the day after I ordered them from Buy.com with Free Super Saver Shipping - very impressive, although I know that is not generally going to be the case! 5 of 5 A Great innovative product! Tuesday, September 25, 2007 Fil from Irvine, CA
I Love these headphones. I use them paired with my Samsung Blackjack, and my laptop. The sound is excellent when paired with my laptop, but slightly worse with the phone, which makes sense, since the laptop can process music at a much greater sound quality. It works when I leave my phone upstairs and go downstairs at home. Answering calls is easy and very clear. The buttons on the sides are very very convenient, and work well, are designed very well, to be water proof and sweat proof. Only con, is that there is not carrying case out that will fit it. I wish someone will create one soon. Was this review helpful?

This is the the state of the art for wireless headphones. I had the bigger bulkier motorola's before these. They were fine with good music quality. However, very low on the cool index. The S9 is the bomb-diggity. The sound quality is amazing. They are very loud. I have to turn them down. I may just be getting old. Nevertheless, I am very pleased. The only compliants I have are not necessarily compliants...more like nit-picking. The buttons are small; thus it's easy to select the wrong ones. However, it has to be this way because of the small size of the overall headset. All in all, I dig'm and you will too!
