I've had a set of Motorola HT820 head phones for some time now. When I purchased the Motorola heads phones I was considering the the Pantroinic PULSAR 260 head phones. Last week I noticed that they were on sale for $30 and free shipping, so I ordered a set.
First off the cords to the bluetooth unit defeat the reason to have bluetooth, and for some reason they made the core to one of the earbuds shorter(very annoying). The interface on the Motorola HT820 is much better. The buttons are nice and big and are where they should be. The button on the Pantronics unit are too small and would be impossible to use with gloves on. Every time you push the button to change the volume or track they send an annoying beep to the ear buds. Taking a call while listening to music on the Motorola unit works great and the music resumes after you hang up. But with the Pantronic unit I've had to restart the music playing from the phone every time I gotten a call.
Unless you need a set of headphones to fit under a helmet, I would recommend the Motorola HT820. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Great sound Saturday, February 28, 2009 Dan from Bethel Park, PA 15102
These earphones have the quality of larger more expensive earphones only without the wires. They work great with the phone for incoming and even outgoing calls with the touch of a button. You can listen to music, talk on the phone, switch songs, turn the volume up or down, all without ever looking at your phone. I couldn't ask for anything more especially for the price. Very long battery time also. Can't think of any cons. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Listening to music rocks, not so much with making Wednesday, February 25, 2009 A Customer from Chicago, IL
I bought these because I kept mseeting up the 20 dollar chorded ones in about a month. I have had these for a while now and they work just as good as the day I got them in the mail. The stereo works well with great sound (for bluetooth) and it is really really comfortable. I can wear them for hours. I just wish the call quality was better for the reciever. Making a call near any nose makes it hard for the person on the other end to hear. But for the price I just use them for music and video watching.

4 of 5 Good product with minor flaws Thursday, February 12, 2009 Pulak from Everett, WA
PROS:
Good price; Long battery life; Sleek design; allows simultaneous connection to computer and phone; decent sound quality (though I could use a little more bass)
CONS:
Design is inconvenient if you're laying on your back (I usually take it out from behind my ears and just have it hanging on top of my ears in this case and that works quite well for me); Mute button combination frequently doesn't work; Volume down button doesn't work too well
NOTE: This is a bluetooth headset with two virtual devices - a Bluetooth Stereo Audio device and a Bluetooth Handsfree Audio device. Don't make the mistake of using the Bluetooth Handsfree Audio device to listen to music from your computer otherwise you'll complain about the sound quality.
Overall I am quite happy with my purchase. I just needed a wireless stereo headset and this product gives me much more than that. I would rate overall satisfaction as 4.5 but the only options are 4 & 5. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great buy... A little large... Sunday, January 25, 2009 Joss from TN
As you can see by how I rated I am very happy with the purchase. I bought this item to listen to Pandora being transmitted by my Moto Q9c. The sound is great and the battery last for ever. I wear them about 4 hours a day and yes you feel them on your ears, nothing a little readjusting can't fix though. If what you seek is a great quality stereo bluethooth headset at an affordable price, this is what you want. Purchased for less than 35$ shipped quickly thanks buy.com.

5 of 5 better than expected Sunday, January 18, 2009 Emma from Oklahoma City, OK
I was surprised with the quality of sound with this headset. I have several very good corded headsets like Sony, Koss, & Sennheiser and these equal the frequency response. They are comfortable to wear and battery charge last a long time. Even though these are lower in price, you get great sound. They arrived sooner than expected too with free shipping. Pairing was as easy as any bluetooth headset. This is quite possibly the best internet buy I've ever made. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Headphones Thursday, January 15, 2009 A Customer from Mission Viejo, California
Great sound, easy to use, and lightweight. I use it with my Verizon HTC Touch XV6900. Pairing was easy. The around-the-neck style is not the most comfortable, but these have the best combination of features compared to competitors. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Overall a pretty good performer. Thursday, January 01, 2009 Lolark from IA
I got this headset to use with my enV2 and it works well. Pairing was effortless and all features work. I am decently impressed with the sound quality tho sometimes they seem a little tinny or muddy sounding - may have something to do with the quality of the media being listened to. My only complaint is that the volume level leaves a little to be desired as they are not loud enough for rooms where the background noise is higher. All things considered I recommend the purchase especially at the buy com price. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 good headphone for good price Tuesday, December 30, 2008 Vin from nj
It was easy to connect to my Moto Q
At times it is quite uncofortable for my ears where headphone seats.
Also, If you are a commuter as I am, it is not easy to sit as it has behind the head design.
If you are listening to music, its quality is as good as some wired headphone I have used.
However, lets say you are listening to music at mid volume setting and if you get a phone call, you can barely hear the other person. For phone conversation use, you have to keep the voice at highest settings.
I would recommend it to a friend. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Bluetooth Headphones! Friday, December 26, 2008 Christopher N from Baton Rouge, LA
My wife and I both own Stereo Bluetooth enable phones that are able to hold a large number of mp3s. We purchased the two-pack of the Motorola HT820 headsets recently and have been thoroughly empressed. She uses hers all the time while working out at the gym and loves it! I use mine while at work to listen to music without disturbing my co-workers. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great headset at lower price - Motorola brand Sunday, December 21, 2008 Shiva from Fort worth Texas
I bought this product a month back. It is very easy to setup and use. Though it appears larger on ears; it performs great. Sound quality is too good. It picks up the singal for a long distance. Inside my home, i roam around with out any signal disturbance. Battery last for around 8 hours. This product has inbuilt volume control. Also you can switch between songs from you headset, without taking your mobile.
Cons:
The only problem i found with this is that it is little longer for me to fit. There is always a gap between my neck and the the headset. It could have been designed to adjust the size to fit all head sizes. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Nice product Sunday, December 14, 2008 Greg from Paterson, NJ
I liked the head phones, Good range in my house; I can go in to another room and still hear well. But the only problem I had with it was when I linked it with my computer to listen to music I needed to download a driver so it can work and even after that you can only hear the music at an average volume. When using it as a phone headset is great. When using a MP3 player it’s also great. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Nice Headphones Sunday, December 07, 2008 A Customer from Charlotte, MI
Paired right away with Moto Q, sound quality is pretty good for music, and just fine for calls. Mic works well. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 very good product Sunday, December 07, 2008 Surej from Chicago
I bought this headset to use with my phone, HTC touch. I am very much satisfied with the performance & I got it at a great price from BUY.COM. All advertised features function as described. The headset surprised me when it continued to play my music even when the paired device was not in direct line of sight, which I did not expect. The reason I gave a 4 for "ease of use" is the controls. As with most Bluetooth headsets I have used this headset also has a single button for multiple functions , to use one the same button has to be kept pressed for some duration. I have never been comfortable with this feature of any gadget I have used. I believe it is easier to have separate buttons for each function. Over all the sound quality is good, wireless range is good , looks good, battery life is good - so an excellent buy. Was this review helpful?
2 of 5 Do your research Sunday, December 07, 2008 Ernie from O'Fallon, IL
I bought this headset thinking I could use it with my BT enabled phone to both listen to music and answer calls WIRELESSLY. Nope. I can't listen to music wirelessly. Unfortunately, all I had to do was five minutes of research on Google to find out this headset doesn't work with MANY BT enabled phones that play music (like the iPhone 3G). My bad. Then again, it would be nice if that was explained clearly as well. This is nothing more than a bulky, heavy BT headset, which I don't need. I take responsibility for not doing the research. If you have a BT-enabled phone and want a bulky BT headset for making calls, this will work. Otherwise, skip it. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Good product for a reasonable price Sunday, November 30, 2008 Vladimir from Blacksburg, VA
The Motorola HT820 is definitely a good buy. They are pretty easy to use and have only 6 buttons, 2 for volume, 2 for forward and backwards, call button, and music button. Quality of sound is good, talking on it while driving or walking is nice, and the actual speakers have a nice padding on them. The batteries have yet to run out, but I did not test for that yet, as I recharge them pretty often. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Impressed! Wednesday, November 26, 2008 DP from NJ
I am satisfied and content with quality of this headset. The only -ve point would be that it starts paining behind the neck if u wear it for more than an hour or so. Never mind, quality of the audio sink as well as mono bluetooth during the calls is simply awesome.
I would give thumbs up to the support team buy.com, the shipper misplaced my packet and buy.com was quick enough to get in the replacement. Thanks! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Perfect Headset for BT Saturday, November 22, 2008 A Customer from Tampa, Fl
I've had them all, trust me, this is hands down the best stereo bluetooth headset around. It has seamless integration with phones and features fuctions to pause, skip and reverse. They sounds awesome too... battery life is about 10 hours, no joke.

5 of 5 happy user Wednesday, October 01, 2008 drizzt do'urden from Brooklyn / NY
this was a gift and made the recepient very happy. later I found out that the installation was no problem, range is decent and battery life is longer than that of the phone's. sound quality is just fine. the reason that the sound is less than perfect is the quality of the compressed music, not the headphone. mic on this item performs better than the mic on the phone (lg vx8500) will see about durability Was this review helpful?
