Motorola H700 Bluetooth Headset -- Silver, Black - 89013J

It works marginal at best and won't recognize any voice commands. I think it picks up too much background noise. and today it quit working all together. I had it about a month and a half. Motorola says it will take 10 to 15 days to fix it and this is my life line. I've waisted about 3 hours now trying to get it to work and I make $80 per hour when I work so I lost $240 trying to fix it. what a waist of time and money.

I cannot believe buy.com's partner site have sent me a defective product. While the incoming sound is clear from the blue tooth headset, the other person on the call hardly is able to hear anything. There is a huge static noise. Also the packaging was not sealed a clear indication this headset is a used or a refurbished headset. Looking at the price of the product it is not very surprising. I should have realised that before buying it. I am very dissapointed with this purchase

I bought this headset to use while playing Call of Duty 4 on my new PS3 game console. It was easy to set up (Pairing with the PS3 was straigtforward) and worked just like I expected it would. Sound quality is very good.

The unit works if I take the extra time to get it positioned just right... I bought the unit to use in the car and, unfortunately, road noise is still a major drawback...I have to hold the unit tightly to my ear and lean towards the inside of the car to hear properly... Since I only plan to use it in the car on long trips, it will suffice...

I read up on headsets before purchasing, so I knew this one was rated well on review sites. It is very easy to use, the quality has been great except for one time (a little static on and off). Overall the sound is clear, and the people on the other end always say that it sounds normal. I really like how you can just bend the mic over and it will automatically turn the headset off. This saves you batter so you dont charge it a lot. I only use it when I'm driving, and I haven't charged it for a second time (over a week now). Its great, buy it.

This bluetooth sucks i hate it. it has no noice reduction like it says it does. very hard to keep it paired. i have a motorola q and this bluetooth just sucks. Get plantronics,jabra or other brand................DONT GET THIS BLUETOOTH.

I purchased the H700 to replace an older H700. I liked my existing H700 (worked well with Razr and Blackberry), so purchased another, despite my disappointment with the non-replaceable (eco-unfriendly) battery. However, the new H700 required recharging after less than two hours talk time (not the claimed six hours). I am trying to return the unit and am requesting a refund. I hope that my bad experience with the short talk time is a fluke with the particular unit, not with newer versions of the model.

Connection to phone drops in & out. Battery life is very short. Callers complain they can't hear me very good unless the battery has just been charged.

I like this product, but I do have problems in using it in voice activated mode. But on the whole, the person on the other end of the phone can hear me well.

We liked it so much, we bought another one for my wife. Very comfortable and portable - comes with a AC-Adapter to charge it. Highly recommended!

As much as I think bluetooth headsets look like a something you'd see on an insect, I am really glad I finally succumbed to buying one. I am much more relaxed driving legally and definitely feel safer. No more dropping the phone when I see a cop! The Motorola H700 is easy to wear and has been very reliable. I've only had to charge it about once a week, which is very convenient. I highly recommend it.

I searched all around and found a bluetooth that was in my price range and fit my ear perfectly. Even though it is small, it picks up my voice rather well. I have been using it for 6 months and have had no complaints. I love the flip feature which turns off the device easily. And it was $40 cheaper than Walmart, no tax, no shipping!!

I bought this headset for my wife based on excellent reviews, aesthetics, and the fact that it uses a mini-USB connector as does the phone she uses. That is no small matter, by the way. I will no longer consider a phone or headset that uses (yet another) proprietary charger. As for this headset, it fits perfectly on my wife's smaller ear and does not flop around like the majority of other headsets have. The flip-out mic boom is nice because it provides a foolproof method of turning the device on and off; no ambiguity! The voice quality is excellent for both sending and receiving. And the thing is feather-light. She often forgets that she's wearing it. Lastly, it looks really sleek -- far better than the pictures would lead you to believe. Having said all of that, I would not get this headset for myself. It looks just a bit too feminine for me. I mean it's very sharp looking, just not quite my apropos to my style.

This bluetooth device works just as it promises, with one exception. I can only be about 10 feet away from the cell phone before I start to hear static. Set-up was very easy. I can use it for days without having to charge it. It's easy to put on and stays put while I am driving. I have used it outside and had no complaints from the person on the other end about wind noise or other sounds. My last headset made me sound like I was in a wind tunnel if I was outside taking a call. Overall, I am very satisfied with the product and would recommend it, especially given the reasonable price.

The Motorola H700 Bluetooth Headset looks very slick and it fits comfortably over the ear. It's not one of those headsets that you have to stick in your ear and that get uncomfortable after a while. You can wear this headset for hours and you'll probably forget you're wearing it. In general the sound quality is very good. My only real concern with the H700 is that people I am talking to tell me that my voice is tinny and sometimes almost sounds like I am a robot. Overall... a very good bluetooth headset.

I use to have a Plantronics explorer headset, but the Motorola is by far a better product. Its light weight makes you almost not feel that you have it on. I consider it a great purchase. The sound quality is good, and it is extremely simple to use. The only drawback is that from time time I hear a bit of static.

This is my second one (my puppy got a hold of my first one and had a snack), I bought both through buy.com and I received both in less then 24 hrs from ordering and you cant beat that! I have a hard time hearing with back round noise and my last blue tooth the mot H300 (the one that takes a regular AAA battery worked well but was not loud enough. The H700 is so loud I don't even have to turn it all the way up. I can hear and hold a conversation with while driving with the windows down! It connects when you open in the flip in less then 3 seconds and is very comfortable. I read some reviews where people stated that the mic would rest on your cheek and people would hear your voice as muffled. Not true in my case. It feels secure on your ear and no one even knows your using a headset. I highly recommend the H700 to anyone but only if you buy it from buy.com as you wont find it cheaper anywhere else unless its a knock off on ebay. Plus with shipping as fast as buy.com provides how can you beat it? If your thinking about buying it stop right now and buy the thing. You wont regret it.

After doing some research around the web, I saw some negative reviews about the volume level and sound quality of this headset. After using this headset for a while, I believe most of those negative reviews were from people who bought counterfeit merchandise from Ebay. Everyone I have talked to has told me they can't tell I am on a headset. The volume level on my end is plenty loud in any reasonable situation. Pairing and operation are easy, and if you have a Motorola phone you can use the included charger for your phone too. Buy this headset retail and you will not be disappointed.
