4 of 5 Decent, not great. Good value. Wednesday, December 24, 2008 StinklePink from Cary, NC
I believe in the case of this headset, the story is 'value'. For the price you can't beat it. It is very comfortable, pairs quickly and easily with just about anything and is easy to use.
What separates it from a better, more expensive unit is noise cancellation.
In a noisy car the person on the other end will have a hard time hearing you. I also agree with some others that say that the range is not stellar either. You'll need to stay with 4-5 feet of your phone at all times for best performance.
Is it the best unit on the market? No. Would I buy it again? Sure would! At this price there is little that competes especially in this form factor which is in my opinion, the most comfortable (I have small ears and the clip-on units hurt over long periods). Was this review helpful?

4 of 5 Promises better than it gives Sunday, November 09, 2008 Rich from Mishawaka IN
There are a number of 20.00 headsets out there that work pretty well, and for the price of approx 21.00, it's not a bad set. Very comfy, lightweight, easy to setup, good volume due to the way the sound can be directed into the ear with the rubber 'funnel', (important because my hearing is somewhat impaired) easy to change ears, uses the standard mini-usb charger (very convenient, cause I also use a RAZR V3m)
Complaints: a bit bulky at the top of the ear for eyeglass wearers. Slow to connect and answer incoming calls. I thought it was not answering, so I was repeatedly hitting the answer button twice, thereby answering then disconnecting the call. My other headsets are much quicker. Sometimes it just doesn't want to hang up. You must keep the headset on the same side as the phone. (is this the headset or the phone?) Not as adept at understanding voice dialing as my Logitech Traveller. But the biggest complaint is that some callers report my voice as somewhat muffled. They CAN understand me most of the time, but it is NOT like talking on a land line, not is it as good as my Logitech Traveller. Noise filtering - isn't much.
Summary: at full price - no thanks. At the current price - a good deal. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 H605 headset review Sunday, October 26, 2008 A Customer from Weston, MA
Works pretty well. Required a couple of tries to pair it with an LG8500 phone, but it eventually worked. It's loud enough in general (I've seen other concerns about not loud enough to be heard). First few calls, I asked the other end about the quality -- they say as good as the usual cell phone. Single button worked to be able to use the LG voice dial feature. It is comfortable on the ear. It is not easy to get on and off the ear, even once I figured out the technique. All in all, a good value given its low relative cost. Was this review helpful?

I got the headset. The quality is great: both for me and whom I'm speaking to, enjoy a great chat.
It synchronizes very easily with my samsung ace smart-phone, laptop, moto-razr v3 and cheap-o moto v620 phone, and is easy to switch between devices.
The only problem is that it is waaaaaaaaay bigger than I thought. Quite honestly, I thought it'd be disguised behind my ear, almost unnoticeable. Instead, I just look like I have a huge tumor or goat-horn growing out of my ear.
In conclusion: Although a great headset, I will eventually modify it to be more discreet while remaining comfortable, and hopefully lighter, as my ear can't handle carrying it for over an hour, specially on long talks and drives.
Final Words: If you are looking for quality, ease of use, BT compatibility, great performance and value, this is for you. If size and stylishness is your concern, then you might want to think twice. Was this review helpful?

I've used this for about 3 weeks now and really like it. It's comfortable and the sound is very clear. The people that I've called can't tell the difference between this or the phone. Was this review helpful?
2 of 5 Motorola Bluetooth H605 Monday, May 05, 2008 DISSATISFIED PURCHASER from Williamstown NJ
Good News: Pricing excellent, Shipping and delivery very fast. Bad news : While using a Samsung Blackjack II Smartphone, I found this device lacking in several areas. 1. The range was extremely poor, often I have to hold the phone close to the H605 to eliminate the popping sound that tells you, you're out of range! (this is on a fully charged device)
2. Placement into the ear is difficult because the earpiece is on a rigid arm, and the shape of the actual earpiece does not make for comfortable fit. 3. The device picks up lots of surrounding noise. 4. You must cup your hand around your mouth and the device to make yourself clearly heard whithout shouting. Was this review helpful?
