works good great buy you will need to find a good station trial and error will help that quality sounds is good i use it with my iphone3gs works good charges and transmits music at same time fine that is a big plus for me i would say certainly worth the buy i tested to see if i could received a call through speakers but it is a no go will not work it will just stop your music then ring your phone you pick it up then after you hang up starts playing your music another thing is that when you plug it in will say if you want to switch to airplane mode cause not compatible just hit no and it will work just fine

I have tried atleast 5 different FM transmitters over time and have always been disappointed with erratic connection, changing stations, static etc. This Monster Iplay Transmitter is the best...haven't needed to change the FM station since i purchased ...with great sound quality...no static etc. I definitely recommend this FM transmitter

It has a very simple interface and an easy to read display. I like having three presets. Once you find a good frequency you should be set. If you keep it in the center console, the buttons are easily bumped changing your preset. This is a simple device with better than average performance.

This transmitter works pretty well, but the display is absolutely unreadable in direct sunlight. If you are wanting to use this outside (ie at the park or on the boat), you will have to work very hard to see the display. The controls are non-intuitive enough that Monster needed to attach a plastic sheet with instructions to the cord. I suppose once you figure them out, like any interface, it is perfectly usable.

This is very easy to use, install, and comes across great over the radio...BUT, it doesn't charge your ipod nano while it is working. You need to buy another charging adaptor to tag on to the monster icarplay, then it is the complete package!

i bought this for my ipod classic video and it sounds great. i've tried other FM trans and this one sounds the best. it has very little buzz and holds the station pretty good. very easy to set up.. i just tuned it into 88.7 fm and set my radio to 88.7 fm and hit shuffle and i was jamming away. it also works great in your classic car becasue you can tune your 40 year old am/fm radio to and FM station and listen to the modern convenice of an ipod. no need to put in a CD changer or a newer radio and mess up your uncut dash... i put a cig lighter in my glove box and i plug in the iplay and the ipod and everthing is hidden..

I've tried several other FM transmitters and this one seems to be the better one (size vs. quality of signal). I don't remember the others I have used but for the money, this one is a fair deal and good decent quality. Give it a shot - it's worth it!

I live in Boston and has no trouble finding 3 stations for the transmitter. Sometime there is static but most of the time it is clear. Sounds good for podcasts, but kinna flat for music. Easy to use and hook up. Overall, a nice looking transmitter that works for me.

This is the ONLY transmitter that I have found that works perfectly with my ipod...I have gone through 4 (other brands) with poor sound quality or just didnt tune in. Thank you! I finally get to listen to my music in my car!!!

The item does send sound to the radio but it seems to have a hiss. I have had this experience with all FM transmitters. I think the Belkin version is better. Stay away from battery operated and only use line level FM transmitters. I just feel I should be getting more for $35.

I bought it in the $32 range here at buy.com and gave it to my daughter for Christmas. According to her it sounds as good as a CD. My wife had a Griffin iTrip for the iPod mini and it wasn't so great but, that was several years ago and the technology has improved.

I bought this after reading a bunch of reviews. Mix emotions but for the price I couldn't pass it up. After messing with it for a while I found a local station that comes in clear in the kcmo (107.9) area. After that it works like a charm. I would recommended it to anyone. (ipod 160gb) Factory radio.

I was very skeptical at first. Because I couldn't believe a little electronic thing as that could be that simple to use but it made a believer out of me. And, the portability is great from one vehicle to the other. Plus it fit my Nano..

I have two of these cables, one for each car. They work well with no background noise. It's easy tp program and change sations. Living in San Diego and traveling to Los Angeles requires a couple of station changes usually. The first one I bought at a big box store for almost $50 more (ouch.

I have had sever other brands and this one takes the cake! The sound quality is great and it is really easy to use. I love being able to listen to limitless music and still having a fully charged battery. I definitely recommend this item. I have a radio tower near my home that has caused all the others that I have had to go fuzzy when driving past, but this does not happen with this transmitter.

I bought my first FM transmitter from Target and paid about the same price as I did for this one. The first one was horrible - I couldn't find a station with out tons of static even when traveling in the country. The sound on this one was much better, even when in the city. The only complaint I have is that it does not charge 4G Nano's.

I couldn't get the iCar to change two of the three station settings but I admit that it could be a user problem. But, even though one of the stations that it came pre-programmed to had a live station associated with it, that setting is the one I use the most and get the best reception from so the change feature might not be necessary, anyway.

Very easy setup probably because of limited FM stations in Saudi. Ended up using one of the preset channels. Sound quality is only limited by the car stereo. Had one case where a car with another FM transmitter overlapped with my signal but was more of a curosity than anything. Also like the fact that it keeps my iPod charged.

Tried the Kensington unit - horrible sound. I'd seen this Monster unit in other's cars, but have that anti-Monster bias. When the Kensington didn't work for me, I figured I'd try Monster. No complaints.

Works as advertised, once you find the right frequency, and easy to use. I especially like the flexibility to use any frequency within the range specified. Another FM transmitter I have gives me 6 to choose from. This allows me to use any. Very flexible!

I listen to audio books as I commute. I tried two other less expensive brands and was disappointed. Then I splurged on this Monster unit and found it did the job for me.

First off, combining a charger and FM transmitter into one device is genius. It is why I bought this device. A few nit picks now that I have used it a few weeks. The cord between the FM transmitter module and the ipod is too short. Everytime you move the transmitter around, you hear a bit of static. I had to get some velcro to secure the module so it does not move around. The only problem with this, is my range of moving the ipod is now severly limited. Meanwhile, there is a ton of unused cord between the transmitter and cigarette adaptor. Otherwise, works exactly as advertised. Once you find a station that works well, you will rarely if ever hear any static. Since it is not using the headphone jack, the audio quality is very good for an FM transmitter and does not get affected by moving the ipod around.
