    I have an LCD and an older (2000)Sony surround. I don't have the capability to hook the surround/dvd player via HDMI and I am using the cable to interface between cable box and audio. Now I can watch On Demand HD movies with crystal clear Dolby Digital 5.1. Very happy with the product and my first experience with buy.com MARKETPLACE.
