Tony Shalhoub stars in this cable television series as Adrian Monk, a former San Francisco homicide detective who lost his job after developing an acute case of obsessive-compulsive disorder when his wife was murdered. Dedicated to catching criminals as a private investigator now and accompanied by his nurse Sharona, Monk fights crime relying on keen observation and his obsessive attention to even the most minute details of each case. One of the best new series to premiere in 2002, MONK is a witty and suspenseful delight.
