for a 17" labtop bag it cant get much better. the only issue maybe space but that can be fixed as it have mutipul removeable slots and pockcets. you can make it so that you bag will carry your labtop and books or keep in all the bags and pockest and carry everything from stationary, PDA, textbooks, gagets and your labtop. nice fix and doesnt take up much room. IT LOOKS SMALLER THAN WHAT IT IS a nice bag for college

pros: walk around with complete confidence no one can get inside the bag without your knowledge. ventilation warms your back on cold days. shoulder straps are nicely padded. netting on shoulder straps for cell phone, id, etc. nice organization inside the bag with plenty of pockets for change, credit cards, pens, phone chargers/power chords, etc. cons: the bottom of the bag is about a 45 degree angle, so the bag won't sit upright on the floor. the zipper to the media pocket is not wide enough for a cd player (in case that's somehow the selling feature for someone). the only internal pockets are on an insert that wastes space inside the bag. there could be more volume in the bag, but what you can fit inside it is probably the most weight you should be carrying anyway.

I think it is a very good bag pack, the quality is very good and my 17" HP laptop fits perfect in it but I also think that it should be a little bit bigger to fit more extra stuff in there.
