4 of 5 Works well, but the esthetics could use some work Tuesday, January 06, 2009

I purchased this for my wife to use in aerobics class, since she dislikes the monitors that require a chest strap. From a features standpoint, for the price, I think this is one of the best deals. The heartrate monitor function works pretty well. It takes my wife about 4 seconds of pressing the buttons to read her heart during a busy cardio class and the screen is large and easy to read. Which is part of the problem. The watch is big--especially for a lady. It's probably a bit bigger than a silver dollar on the face. It's also fairly heavy and each model comes in only one color. Red, would not have been my first choice. Although, for extra $$, you can order a different strap/case. So, this watch is very functional, just not the most wardrobe conscious monitor on the market.
