5 of 5 CB works great Monday, April 13, 2009 A Customer from Winston-Salem, NC
My Midland works just fine and I am well satisfied with it. In the 70s I was a great CB buff as most people were. You had too many on the radio then but now it is pretty clear so you don't get cut off so much. I bought my Midland to talk to truck drivers and others on the road as I am in a service business and am on the road 50% of the time. Again I am happy with my Midland. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Better Than Expected Wednesday, September 24, 2008 A Customer from Louisville,KY
Don't let the low price of this radio fool you, this is a great radio. Works every bit as well as my other handheld CB that cost $80.00. Nice clear sound, and no problems communicating with our mobile unit from 2 1/2 to 3 miles away. GO MIDLAND ! I am buying another one right now. Maybe 2 more. At this price, this radio can not be beat. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 CB Portable Sunday, August 10, 2008 A Customer from Northport, NY
I was pleased to discover this unit would make a nice "trip" of 3 1/2 miles when supplenmented with a magnetic mount antenna. The "Rubber Ducky Antenna" works for over a mile.
This is not a "Top of the Line" unit, but it still works well. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Midland 75-785 Handheld 40 channel CB Wednesday, August 06, 2008 wentonce from Baraboo, WI
This is a nice small CB, It has a flexible antenna and a good deal of volume if one needs it. It is much smaller than the versions of 20 years ago. It would carry well on a belt and has a belt clip. It has a wrist band to help you keep from dropping it if you are walking along a difficult path. It takes 9 batteries, and seems to work well with the new rechargable batteries giving a good deal of time. It has mic and speaker Jacks a place for external power supply and a high and low power transmission settings. It is made to be operated one handed right hand. Was this review helpful?
