i've had this charger a couple of weeks and so far, so good. i understand that newer generations of zune may not fit this charger, but i have a 30g, first generation and it works well. the cord is thick and not flimsy. it was a very good price, arrived quickly and is doing what it is supposed to. Worked well and charged the Zune fully. I haven't timed the charge time vs charging on a USB 2.0 port on my PC, but I expect that it is a little quicker, due to no syncing. The only downside I noticed was that, while charging the Zune with this, the Zune screen goes in to sleep mode, unlike charging on a PC. At first I thought it wasn't working, but figured out that I had to push on the Zune pad to see the charging progress / status.
