This is more powerful than the last product I have. It has more functions in it and now my laoptop is safe from all thread. just a little confusing that the software didn't recommend I use my hardware for backing up files. I guess that decreas its effectiveness. Was this review helpful?

I could not install LiveOne car. It says it is incompatible because I have a dynamic drive. In order to use this useless software I need to change my drive to static which means that I will lose all my data. Useless, buy Mcaffee instead. Was this review helpful?

You cant go wrong using Microsoft's OneCare. At half the price of most other virus software, you get a easy, and effective software suit, that does what it is designed to do. I use it for its backup feature, which is even network capable. Control your whole network from one machine with ease. Could not be more pleased with this product. Not to big or slow like most other suits, plus updates and next year renewal is as easy as a click of one button. I love it. Was this review helpful?

i have been using this since it's creation and truly i stand by this product i've tried many other programs and i mean many and windows live one care out performs all others it was a little shaky with vista at first but now it runs awesome . and at this price you can not go wrong try it you won't be sorry . I used the trial version of One. Thought being a Microsoft product, will integrate well with my Vista. Though installation and configuration was easy the product itself is no good. Allowed installtion of a Trojan - the virus kept bugging me with pop-ups. "One" was no good identifying or cleaning up the Trojan. Totally worthless, AVG Free version is better than this One. AVG totally recognized and cleaned it in one go. I have since gone to AVG free. Why even pay $12 odd for this software which is no good. Use AVG! Was this review helpful?

In the past few months, I have tried almost every major anti-virus protection on the market. Norton is too bulky, AVG is too rigid and I just don't trust McAffee. I tried the Beta of OC 2.0 and loved it. Plus with the promise of managing multiple computers, I was sold. After I installed my first instance of OC, I got caught in a perpetual loop of going to the Live site. After hours of frustration and troubleshooting I figured out that if you are Serving the Military Overseas, and have a non-US IP you cannot register the product. Great product, but when will these companies start thinking of those people working abroad? There are thousands of people working in Germany, Italy and the Middle-East who own computer too.
