5 of 5 Finally, Perfection! Sunday, August 30, 2009 PS from Provo, Utah
With my 50+ years of piano, organ & typing, my poor arthritic hands have finally found a keyboard and mouse that naturally fit! These must have been designed by a team with an understanding of basic ergonomic needs. Thank you, thank you! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Product Sunday, April 26, 2009 AG from Gresham, OR.
I've had been using the 4000 model before and wanted a wireless one. The product is great, easy on my wrist. Like always, fast shipping and the lowest price. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Phat upgrade, Awesome price Monday, April 20, 2009 Dre from Hamden, CT
Bought this so I can bring the desktop down to the living room and connect it to the 42" flat screen and chill on the couch while working. Wireless keyboard and mouse bundle made that happen for me lovely. Great range and programmable shortcut keys on the keyboard make openning most frequently used applications and sites a breeze. I truly can do everything from the couch now which is awesome. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 The microsoft 7000 Sunday, April 12, 2009 Dawn M atson from Fort Collins, Co
This is a nice keyboard. A lot of extra features. I didn't think I would like the mouse. It is a differant shape. It is larger than I am used too. But I do like it. This was a great buy.
I would like to tell you about how I was treated by this company. They are wonderful. The customer service really cared about my purchase and really wanted me to be happy with them. I will buy from them again. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 A great keyboard Saturday, March 21, 2009 A Customer from West Lafayette, IN
I got this set at a great price here at Buy.com not too long ago, and it is definitely worth the money. I have a trackball mouse, so I haven't used the one included with this set. Here's my review of the keyboard, though: You can customize many of the keys (even keys I wasn't expecting, like the CAPS Lock key), and setup is a breeze. My only complaints are that the silver shortcut buttons at the top seem a bit loose and flimsy for the price of the keyboard, and the Zoom wheel in the middle cannot be changed for any other use except to be toggled on or off. Beyond that, it's a solid keyboard that is great to type on, thanks to the ergonomic design. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 good range Saturday, March 07, 2009 A Customer from okc, ok
i bought this set because it uses the 2.4 ghz wireless technology. i have the pc set up in my office and i run an hdmi cable between it and my hdtv in my living room. this desktop set performs well even at 10-15 yards. my house is kind of open spaced tho, your milage might vary.
i did find the intelipoint problem that previous reviewer complaints about. it usually happens on system level stuff, not web browsers. i guess they test it on most common apps. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Great product, but maybe not for 64-bit Vista...? Thursday, March 05, 2009 Rob from Leesburg, VA
This is a great keyboard and mouse. The split-keyboard design is much more comfortable, and although angling is the reverse of a normal keyboard (ie, front is higher than rear), it helps keep your wrists straighter as long as your chair is at the right height. The larger mouse leaves your hand less cramped, but I find the two extra buttons on the left side very hard to use - they're not located well for either your thumb or index finger.
A heads-up to those with 64-bit Vista or Windows 7: At least on my system, the MS Intellipoint software causes a noticeable lag when you use the scroll wheel. I need to move the wheel for 1-2 sec. before vertical scrolling will begin, which makes it almost useless. There's no lag when Intellipoint isn't running, but you lose all the extra functionality of the mouse that way. I spent over an hour with MS Support and they couldn't resolve it either. So I'm forced to use it without Intellipoint, but found a great little freeware tool called X-Mouse Button Control that restores functionality of the extra buttons. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Amazing product, great price Wednesday, March 04, 2009 A Customer from MA
I installed it on XP and Vista, as I have a dual boot PC. No issues with recognizing it on either platform. I verified the charge of the batteries prior to install, as the build date was over 9-months old. They all had full charge.
The mouse works flawlessly. The new Laser technology is capable of working on smooth, mono-color surfaces without so much as a hiccup.
The keyboard does have a bit of a delay when first typing. I looked into the blogs and forum to see if there was an adjustment to the settings I could make. It appears it's a battery save option built-in that's not modifiable. It's a bit annoying at the start, but after you "get used to it" you learn to adapt.
Admittedly, I did pick up the Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Desktop 7000 with a discount promotional code which made it less than half the retail price. But even at $80 or $90 this is still a great product for the price. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great keyboard mouse upgrade! Monday, March 02, 2009 A Customer from Rancho Santa Margarita, CA
I am a programmer and I just upgraded from the Microsoft Wireless Natural combo that I've had for 3 years. My biggest complaint was that I had to use a mouse pad on my black laminate desk because the mouse could not track very well without it. This new 7000 series Laser mouse tracks perfectly without the pad. It does take a little getting used to new keyboard angles and larger mouse...but not long. I also like the USB thumb drive style adapter versus the puck on a cord. Less junk on my desk with the same reception quality. Was this review helpful?

Love the product. One of the better Microsoft Ergo Keyboards...
It did take me some time to get use to the oversize mouse. Hey, I'm use to it now and it's very comfortable... Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Microsoft Ergnonomic Desktop 7000 Sunday, December 14, 2008 Frederick -- --- - - from -.- .. -. ... -- .- -. --..-- ---
I upgraded from the Microsoft Wireless Natural Ergnonomic MultiMedia Keyboard which I had for a very long time. I like the fact that you no longer need to plug in a cable attached to a receiver that sits on your desk or close by. The new USB plug receiver looks like a USB Memory Stick. I like that feature very much. I have found no fault with the keyboard or mouse. I was surprised how high the mouse is, but I got use to it within 10 minutes. I suspect its design was made to make it more ergnonomic. I have found no faults with the keyboard. I just am not sure what the Zoom slider switch can be used for. Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 no great shakes here Thursday, June 19, 2008 A Customer from miami fla
I've always used an ergonomic keyboard and mouse. This one is not as good as cheaper microsoft models because the slope of the keyboard is lower so it's not as comfortable, and the larger mouse is too big for my taste. Also, it seems like the keyboard misses more strokes than my other wireless model.
It's not all bad though, the addition of rubber palm rests on mouse and keyboard, and the zoom key for internet pages on the keyboard is great.

5 of 5 Very comfortable Thursday, May 08, 2008 Debby from Oswego, NY
Love this keyboard. Have used ergonomic keyboard for years and this one is very comfortable and looks great! Mouse took some getting used to but is helpful for Carpal tunnel symptoms. Highly recommend this one to anyone looking for an ergonomic keyboard. Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 Quick Wednesday, April 30, 2008 bwilk from Stratford, CT
Keyboard and mouse respond quickly and accurately.
Two things for me.
1) I use the F-keys for emulation programs and the f keys on this keyboard do not match the default or standard on regular keybords. Called tech support and hung up after 25 mins.
2) Mouse wheel responds poorly on spread sheets and web pages. Tooo slow. Tried making adjustment in control panel, but no go. I beleive it worked well in the begining and this is about 6 months later. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Keyboard and Mouse Saturday, April 26, 2008 KB from Wichita Falls, Texas
At first I didnt think i would like this keyboard and mouse. I got the set because of carpel tunnel. This keyboard and mouse is great for it. It puts your hands in a much more natural position. I like how the keyboard raises up in the back forcing your hands to rest in a comfortable position. The mouse also rest your hand in the utmost comfortable position. Anyone who is suffering from carpal tunnel needs to buy this keyboard and mouse. You will be glad you did. I know that i was. Was this review helpful?
