Good basic Webcam. Bought 2. Easily installed on wife's XP computer. My XP computer would not install drivers because wda_usb.inf and wdaudio.inf were missing. I found the inf files in backups and re-installed them. Webcam installed perfectly and both operated as expected. Good picture and sound. Used them with Windows Live Messenger.

Excellent quality picture for a "webcam" in this price bracket. Very easy to install and use. Worked very well for third-party chat applications (Google Talk, Yahoo!). Microphone is of satisfactory audio quality. Primary complaint is that my MacBook didn't recognize it, but it works very well on computers running Windows XP.

Received product within 2 days. Installed software...100MB...takes 20 minutes to add name, and other additional stuff. Everytime you start your computer it HOGS your resources. I installed HOG software for "one click" on the webcam with my family according to the instructions. In reality...it takes a click on webcam for software, click on person with instant messenger, wait for the window...then click on video. Wait for startup...3-5 minutes once you click on the webcam...It works, but if you have a slower computer and/or not much ram, the HOG will get you...oink oink...

So far the camera is performing very well and is very easy to use. It arrived on time and we were able to use it to talk with friends and relatives over the holidays. Overall we are very happy with it and the price is very manageable.

I use this product on my laptop and it fits just fine. Overall picture and video quality are good. The only thing is that when taking pictures on it, there is no timer so you're going to have to press a button to take a picture. Other than that I recommend this product to anyone.

I loved how fast the webcam came!
Bur when I got the Webcam, I also needed to buy a new microphone, because the one in the webcam had too much interference, and made a lot of and buzzing noise.

I recv'd the lifecam quickly and was able to set it up,however, I had difficulty seeing the video clearly. After following the instructions to fix the problem, I was unable to view. Finally went to the Microsoft website and found out that I was not able to view the video on the 1084 resolution that my monitor was set up. When I set the resolution to a lower viewing, I was able to see the video. This means everytime I want to play streaming video, I have to always change the resolution.

I've been using this webcam for 3 months and I can honestly say it gives me no troubles. It installs easily and it's easy to adjust the settings. The picture quality is above par relative to the product's price.
Videos are not high-quality, but it shows video as clear as any recreational user could ask. Just make sure you have decent lighting in the room. When evaluating alternatives, I didn't need a high-resolution webcam that sells for 3x the price of this. I use this to communicate via Skype with a friend that's abroad. She has no complaints with audio or video whenever we use it. Overall, this is a good webcam at a great value.
