5 of 5 Hardy and very ergonomical mouse Wednesday, August 19, 2009 Matt from The Boonies of Alabama
I have been using this mouse for about 2 years now, and I must say I am quite impressed with its durability. I use a computer a lot, and I do mean a lot. This mouse has endured easily tens of thousands of clicks, no doubt miles of scrolling, and many many falls from about 2½ feet. And from all this use and abuse, the only damage to it is some minor surface scratches, and a worn white spot on the left button from all those thousands of clicks. And the zoom feature is hands down the best I've ever seen in a mouse's factory software. A comparable mouse from Logitech's zoom feature was all but unusable. The zoom button was in the worst position, right behind the scroll wheel, and was always bumped by accident. I am normally not enthused by the quality of Microsoft's products, but this is definitely an exception. Very ergonomic (to my hand at least, I do have large hands) and well worth the money. 5 of 5 Great mouse for right handed people Wednesday, April 22, 2009 Carl from West Mifflin, PA
This is a great little mouse for the price. The mouse was procured for a co-worker with some vision problems because of the zoom feature. The mouse performs well and the zoom feature is excellent. My only negative comment is that you really need to be left handed to use the zoom button properly. I received great service from Buy.com that I've come to expect. Was this review helpful?

Lightweight mouse with a extremely fluid scroll wheel. The zoom feature is great for a look at small text. Do install the accompanying software for better customization. Was this review helpful?
2 of 5 Not Quite... Thursday, February 07, 2008 UR8OOL from Buffalo, NY
I agree, it's easy to install anyone could do it. The wheel rolls great. But it all stops there. I'm a CAD Drafter. I "click" thousands of times a day and I got to tell you this mouse sucks. I was really surprised by this microsoft product. It weighs to much for its size. I don't think it would roll off the table so lighten it up a little. The center click and side scrolling should meet Bill Gates "personally" right where he sits. If the center click is your Enter command or whatever, you better make damn sure you're dead center or you start scrolling all over. It sucks. But I'm a pessimist. Spend more money you cheap-skate and buy a better MS product. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 The zoom feature is outstanding Monday, December 03, 2007 A Customer from Greenwood Village, CO
I purchased this mouse specifically for the zoom feature for a co-worker with limited vision. He loves it - it is so helpful for him! Additionally, it was easy to install and easy to learn to use the features. I am thinking of getting another one for myself. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Comfortable mouse, terrible click wheel Thursday, June 14, 2007 A Customer from Baltimore, MD
This is a nicely shaped mouse that feels comfortable to hold and use, except for one major problem. The click-wheel is really difficult to press. Comparing it to 2 other Logitech mice I have, it is really unusable for me. It's too bad, because scrolling with the wheel is really smooth. If you don't click the middle button much, this mouse would be nice. I ended up mapping the side button to act like the middle button, which is acceptable to me, but not ideal. 3 of 5 Failure prone Saturday, March 03, 2007 hbl from Lake In The Hills, IL
I purchased the MS Comfort Optical Mouse 3000 on May 21, 2006. The left button failed February, 2007. The same thing happened to the previous mouse, a MS MOAKUO shipped by Gateway with my computer after a similar period of time. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Surprisingly Nice Mouse Monday, December 04, 2006 A Customer from Huntington Beach, CA
I bought this mouse because if it was simple, affordable, and for the scroll wheel. I actually saw one in a store on display and found that the scroll wheel was completely smooth, no clicking. It's amazing. The extra button by your thumb can be set to any function and is very convenient. Optical is smooth and the wire is hardly an issue. The side scrolling feature is nice. It is a bit heavy considering there are no batteries like a wireless. It hardly matters, I bought one for work and am now getting another for home after researching many similar priced options. 5 of 5 Great mouse, great price, fast service Tuesday, April 04, 2006 Blair H from West Liberty, OH
I got this because of the cheap price and it had sideways scrolling. It also has a neat magnifier built in. Tres cool. Was this review helpful?
