Bought item for girlfriend. She really likes it. Suits her needs for when she's on the go. Great for a quick backup. Nice capability of charging through computer USB port. Sleek design that 'clips' on to the end of the phone so as not to be too bulky. Would recommend as a cheap backup battery alternative.

Just picked one of these chargeblocks up from buy.com in preparation for an upcoming trip. My iPhone was in the red zone under 20% battery remaining. I plugged the chargeblock into the phone and it charged it to 70% power in under an hour. Couldn't be simpler to use. Small, lightweight and easy. Fits in your pocket with a protective cover. For the price, I would recommend this product based on my initial use of it.

The ChargeBlock charges (from your computer's USB port) relatively quickly, it is not cumbersome (I wouldn't want to carry it in my pocket, but if you have a bag it is definitely small enough), and it charged my iPhone 3G from completely discharged to 80% full before running out of juice. Definitely a worthwhile investment. I bought one for myself and one for a friend (anyone who knows an iPhone user knows someone whose cell phone battery is perpetually low on power). Cheaper than those full cases that include a spare battery, and much less cumbersome.

Nice little back up. It comes with USB charger that goes to your computer then to device. It's the same tip used on Motorola and other phone and camara chargers. Wonder if you could use one of those plugs to charge it? or even plug the USB end up to your Iphone wall plug? Would be very cool.
