4 of 5 It's so cool, but it hurts, IT HURTS!! Sunday, July 30, 2006

Yes, the biggest problem with Metroid Prime: Hunters is the configuration of the controls. Hold the DS with one hand, and use the stylus with the other to aim. If you have big hands, then this is a problem. You're hands will cramp up in no time and then it becomes a labor of love to play the game. As a comparison to the Metroid games on the Gamecube, this doesn't compare very well. It is shorter and dumbed down; you have to rely on your own power suplies (there are no save, weapons, and map stations). The multiplayer is sweet without a drop in framerate, and the maps are fun. As far as graphics go on the DS, this is excellent, but it doesn't compare to graphics on the PSP. Overall, this is a good experience on the DS with cool graphics and hot multiplayer. You just have to get over the pain.

Great game, but I seriously can't deny the pain that my hand has been in.
