5 of 5 Alternator whine / engine noise Saturday, July 18, 2009 Brian from City of Industry, CA
Recently I bought a new Maxima, it had a weird high pitch sound that came from all the speakers, the high pitch changes tone as RPM changes, the pitch stays constant during idle, or when the car is turned on.
It's very annoying and I changed many components to solve the problem.
I changed the factory Bose amplifier, new alternator, went aftermarket 4 channel amplifiers with Rca's, highflow convertors.
None of which worked.
I bought *TWO* of these Ground Loop Isolators.. note: TWO, not one.
I installed both directly connected to my car's aftermarket amplifier, and it got rid of all the high pitches noise!!
Hope this helps!!!

5 of 5 Just what was needed Monday, January 21, 2008 A Customer from Brooklyn, NY
Took the hum out of the audio line from the PC to the amplifier. Cleaned up the music leaving a crisp, clear reproduction. Just what was needed, nothing more, nothing less. Was this review helpful?
