Charming, insouciant, and impeccably turned out in a black tuxedo, Dean Martin was coolness incarnate. His music provided the soundtrack of romance, and his image captivated movie and television audiences for more than 60 years. In a searingly honest memoir, his daughter brings to life the glamour, intrigue, and excesses of the infamous Rat Pack, and reveals what it was like to grow up in the home of one of Hollywood's sexiest rogues. 1-40005-043-X$24.00 / Random House

Praise
Kirkus
"Martin recalls the high points...parties attended by Marilyn Monroe, meetings with Elvis and the Beatles, movie premieres. She deftly describes Dean's Las Vegas acts, his hit songs...and films like OCEAN'S ELEVEN, a testament to his membership in the Rat Pack, and his close friendship with Frank Sinatra. Warts and all, but noted with love." 09/01/2004

"No, not this," she'd say, or, "This looks clean, we'll keep it," or-with a sympathetic look-"This can go to Goodwill." One of the boxes was mine, and

I stood staring at my only possessions being picked over and graded.

That first interminabl
