The TravelDrive USB 2.0 flash drive offers users a convenient way to store data, digital photos, video and MP3 files and then easily access them from any PC or Mac using the computer’s USB port.

The USB TravelDrive is now slimmer and cooler than ever before. At .85” wide, these USB flash drives are 30% smaller than the original TravelDrive, while retaining a round, textured gripping area that makes for superior ergonomics. The transparent cap that protects the device’s USB connector is specially designed to fit on the back of the drive, like a pen cap, to prevent loss. It was not what was advertised. I thought I was purchasing a single two-gig jump-drive. Instead, it's two one-gigs. It's not a big deal, just a little annoying. Still good products, though. I still would've gotten them, had I known before hand.

Works as one would expect of a travel drive. Total satisfaction so far in terms of both function and price. Installed protection software: Applies only to PC on which software is installed. In other words, the protection is not built into the travel drive, it's built into the PC. Thus, all one would need to do to access the "protected" data is move the travel drive to another PC. Memorex tech support forewarned me of this, so it was my choice. My second choice will probably be to uninstall the software.

Memory Size = 1 Gig = just right for me. Physical dimension = Thin = fits into my Dell laptop. Best Feature = This stick comes with No #@&* "U3 software". When I order a memory stick, all I want is a memory stick. DEATH to U3... and any other software that auto-loads on my PC without my permission. Thank you memorex for selling only what I needed. And a backhanded thank you to Sandisk for (finally) making a U3 removal tool to get this unwanted pest off my PC and my memory sticks.

Up until last year, I thought Hard Drive crashes happen to other people. I never took the importance of making backup copies seriously. I DO NOW! Memorex 2GB TravelDrive makes it a simple task. Just Plug-It-In and your Ready-To-Go. Copying my data is a breeze. Moving my data from one computer to another just takes seconds. No need for complicated utility programs or large bulky storage units. The price make it a Great Value. Would buy this product again at this low price. My only suggestion to manufacture is make them in variety of colors for identification purposes or use of colored attachment clips. Finally, remember to BACKUP all your IMPORTANT DATA! Save those memorable photo(s), etc. Hard Drives crash without warning!

What a great deal! 2 1 GB drives for half the price of one, the only issue I've had with them is that at least on an older MAC they require power. A bit of a loss of convenience because on the old MAC towers which are big and heavy and only have powered USB ports in the rear. Otherwise an outstanding buy

One of the better USB flash drives I have used. It is very fast, and offers great transfer speeds. The only problem is the little cap, it's easy to misplace, and could be lost permanently if one is not careful. Overall though a very good product for the money. I definitely recommend it.

Very compact, easy to carry. Quality feel and appearance. Works perfectly in USB 2.0 slots, but computers with USB 1.1 won't recognize it. They warn you of the mismatch, tell you it might operate somewhat slowly, and then ignore it! Have used other USB 2.0 Flash Drives for which this was not a problem.

Fast Transfers: Was kind of hesitant that it wouldn't be so fast considering the price but it is as fast if not faster than any of my external hard drives. <br><br> Additional Notes:<br> This was an all around good buy. Because of it's size, I can carry it on my pocket at all times in case I need to transfer files at work or at home. The second drive was also a bonus because my girl friend had been using a floppy drive (Booo!) and now has a smaller, faster, higher capacity drive without all the questions of formatting between two computers. Otherwise... pretty blue light! Oooo Ahhhhh.
