Disney's tenth animated feature celebrates story, song and fun in seven separate sections. Once Upon A Wintertime is a winter fantasy featuring two young ice skaters whose silly lover's quarrel puts them on thin ice till they're rescued by a group of forest creatures. Bumble Boogie finds a feisty little bee zipping through a fantastic, shape-shifting world. There's a classic retelling of the tale of Johnny Appleseed, and The Andrews Sisters provide the singing narrative to the story of Little Toot, a very determined little tugboat. The famous poem Trees is given a stunning visual and choral setting, and Donald Duck and Joe Carioca Blame It On The Samba. The final segment has King Of The Cowboys Roy Rogers introducing the legend of Pecos Bill, who was raised by coyotes, rides cyclones and single-handedly crated the Rio Grande River.

Disney's tenth animated feature features seven short features. Some are based on American fairy tales and legends, such as the stories of Johnny Appleseed and Pecos Bill (narrated by Roy Rogers). Other episodes consist of a fanciful mix of popular and classical music, and animation in the style of FANTASIA. Includes Donald Duck in "Blame It on the Samba". A colorful film from Disney's golden age of animation. The Gold Collection Edition includes the Disney shorts "Casey Bats Again" and "Lambert the Sheepish Lion".
