This is a pretty good media player. My main complaint is that it does not have a network connection, which means that:
a. If you have a hard disk attached to the unit you cannot see it directly from your PC and therefore cannot add/remove content. Basically you'll need to connect it first to your PC to add/remove media files, then disconnect it form the PC and attach it to the MediaGate.
b. You cannot stream directly to your TV from the PC. With software such as PlayOn running on your PC, units that have a network connection allow you to stream from YouTube, Hulu, Amazon, etc.
My favorite media player (at this price range) is Brite-View's CinemaTube. There are very detailed discussions of these and other players at avsforum dot com.
