George Custer is saved from the battlefield at the Little Big Horn by the Cheyenne women. The squaws are looting the bodies of the fallen troopers of the 7th Cavalry after the battle. The women recognize "Yellow Hair" critically wounded and since he had "married" Monahsetah, a Cheyenne woman some eight years earlier they save him from death in spite of their hatred for him. From there, after his recovery, our story unfolds and relates his adventures including working for the U. S. Government as an undercover operative. The story concludes some fifteen years after he is saved from death.
