I replaced Norton 360 with this McAfee Internet Security Suite. The first thing I noticed was how much faster my PC's run with the McAfee system. It has run a system check a couple of times a week although I could probably run it more or less if I set it differently, but I'm fine with the default settings. It doesn't get in my way or annoy me with too many warnings like some security programs do. I had trouble with Zonealarm a few years back and wound up disabling it. McAfee's security program runs smoothly and I recommend it to anyone. I also received this 2 to 3 days after ordering. Quick service from Buy.com. Was this review helpful?

Great price, especially for 3 computers. It caught a phishing scam that I might have fallen for otherwise with a bank I use, it warned me as soon as I clicked on the website in an email. My only complaint was the installation. It doesn't do it from the CD if you follow the recommendation, downloads it all from the internet to get the latest updates, and takes a long time. I wouldn't want to do it on dialup. I also had problems registering it, it finally told me I already had an account with McAfee (from an old trial version years ago) and I had to use that. McAfee has finally outdone Symantec. Just as much protection with far less overhead than Norton Internet Security at a far better price. I only wish that the 3 licenses were independent of each other. They all expire on the same day as the first one you install - so you are best advised to upgrade all your PC's at the same. I was fortunate to buy this. The best part is it came with 3 licenses which let me install this on 3 of my computers. So far my computers have been running perfectly and I have had some trojans detected by the McAfee that AVG missed. Virus protection is not optional if you have none on your computer you better get some ASAP.... Was this review helpful?

I bought this as a replacement for Symantec Internet Security.
It seemed easier to install and there have been fewer pop-up security alerts. I think I might have found my new favorite.

Got this 3 user edition for a great deal at a dozen dollars. Only drawback I don't like is that there is conflict issues with ZoneAlarm firewall. ZA will not allow you to install if it detects McAfee on your system. Was this review helpful?
