This action-packed sequel in the "New York Times" bestselling Maximum Ride series features adventure, fighting, backstabbing--and love.

Annotation:
Sky-based battles, the FBI, evil Erasers, and more appear in this follow-up to the runaway bestseller THE ANGEL EXPERIMENT, where readers were first introduced to 14-year-old Max and her flock of part-human, part-bird kids. The gang decides to seek out their biological parents, but run into trouble along the way when they butt heads with the FBI and the evil agents of the School, Erasers. Not to mention that there's a clone of Max--Max II--that seriously messes with everything. Based on teenage characters taken from James Patterson's adult novels WHEN THE WIND BLOWS and THE LAKE HOUSE, this series is packed with mind-blowing action and adventure.

Author Bio
James Patterson
James Patterson grew up in Newburgh, New York, 50 miles north of New York City. Valedictorian of his class at the Christian Brothers school, St. Patrick's, in 1965, Patterson graduated from Manhattan College with a degree in English. He first entertained the idea of becoming a writer in 1971 when he worked as a college student in a mental institution, a job that afforded him abundant time to read. He came up with the idea for his first novel during that time, and five years later, after 26 rejection slips, his first effort, "The Thomas Berryman Number", appeared in bookstores. Since that time, Patterson has written numerous best-selling thrillers featuring the sensitive, modern-day hero Alex Cross, including "Kiss the Girls", which was made into a major motion picture starring Morgan Freeman.
