5 of 5 The best FM modulator I've tried Friday, January 16, 2009
Travelin Man from Salt Lake City, Utah.
Unfortunately, nothing lasts forever. 15 years ago I bought a SoundFeeder fm modulator, I have yet to find anything that does as well, but the Maximo comes close. I've tried all of the more popular name brands with disappointing results. I returned them all. I travel a lot though, so I continued to look for something that was tunable and actually put out a decent signal. While you occationally still have to "hunt" for a clear channel, this is by far the best I've found. For reference, I've used this for over a year now and in at least a dozen major cities around the country.

4 of 5 FM transmitter for Sansa Tuesday, December 23, 2008
NatureMaid from Rochester, NY
It almost got a *1* star rating, until I played around with it long enough to find an FM channel that it was happy with. Then, WOW! Great sound!

5 of 5 Works with Rockbox! Monday, October 27, 2008
Travis K. from Phoenix, AZ
Inbetween the time I received my e270 and this unit I came across Rockbox jukebox for my Sansa. When I got the unit today, I was worried I wouldn't be able to use the Rockbox firmware with this adapter. I tested it out right away, and to my surprise it worked great! It took awhile to find a good station, which is not the transmitters fault. However, if it scanned in .1 units instead of .2, it may have made it a little easier. A great way to charge and listen to your tunes on the road!!!

4 of 5 Simple to use, not a great value Saturday, September 27, 2008
sierrareal1 from Huachuca City, AZ
This nicely designed FM transmitter falls down on what should have been the easiest piece to accomplish. The plug for the lighter well has difficultly establishing and maintaining its power connection. A bit frustrating to have spent $5.00 more for the transmitter than I did for my 4GB Sansa player, and have it "pop off" when I hit a bump in the road. The transmitter section performs well, has fairly good signal rejection, and has far less static (from signal fade) than my Merkury unit, and overall I am satisfied. I just wish they would have dedicated a bit more attention to the power interface, that part isn't exactly "rocket science".

4 of 5 Works well Friday, August 15, 2008
A Customer from Southern Pines, NC
Unit works as well as most RF adapters work - if you drive into an area where there is a station on the frequency you've selected you'll get interference. If the power outlet is down low like on my car the display is a little hard to read. It is convenient and keeps the battery charged while you listen. If your car doesn't have an audio input this is about the best way to listen.

5 of 5 Great Product Sunday, July 20, 2008
Luann from Simi Valley, CA
After getting the correct upgrade for my Sansa to make this product work, it's great! Now we take trips with the Sansa instead of taking up space with a multitude of CDs!

5 of 5 Maximo Tuesday, April 08, 2008
A Customer from COLD! ,Wisconsin
This product works as advertised. The price was competitive, the locking up problem that was brought up may be caused by leaving the Sansa in the cold car overnight, that is the only time I had any problem after every thing was warmed up no problem.

5 of 5 Great purchase! Sunday, March 30, 2008
A Customer from New Paris, PA
I bought this to compensate for no disk changer in my nused VW. I travel 35 miles to work from a rural area to a small sized city. I was a bit concerned about losing the signal traveling this much, but so far I have had no problems. I can't understand the bad reviews for it. I have had no troubles. I did make sure my Sansa has the latest firmware, but I cannot say this really matters. Highly recommended.

1 of 5 piece o crap Tuesday, March 11, 2008
A Customer from texas
this thing was problematic from the start , the sansa player would freeze up and nothing would happen ! then it would play then stop and freeze up again. The Sansa player works great however once its connected to the FM transmitter it resonds very slowly or not at all. At best the transmitter is quirky and now does work at all. I cannot recommend this especially since there aree similar products out there. It is rather disappoinitng that buy.com will not exchange after only 14 days.

5 of 5 Great product, but you might need a firmware updat Sunday, November 18, 2007
A Customer from San Diego, California
I received the san-360 FM modulator and it did not play through the car radio at all. I had ordered a 2nd one for my wife at the same time and that one did not work either. I went on to the Maximo website www.maximoproducts.com/sansa and found that the sandisk e250 might need a firmware update. I downloaded and ran the firmware update and now the san-360 FM modulator works very well. Would be a little bit of a problem for a store to sell this unit and then have a customer try to operate it in the parking lot. The instructions recommend checking for firmware updates.

This product works great and is very easy to use. I took it right out of the box and pluged it into my car and in less than a minute I was listening to my MP3 player with super sound.

3 of 5 It's alright Tuesday, April 24, 2007
Clint from Minneapolis, MN
I live in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area and have not had very good luck finding a station that I can consistently listen to without static. If I am traveling more than a few miles I have to change the frequency a few times. I am going to be taking a road trip in a few weeks into a less saturated area so it should work good for that. Bottom line, if you live in a largely populated area, any FM tuner is not going to work all that great. This one does the job as good as it can I suppose.

4 of 5 Maximo SAN-360 Car FM Transmitter and Charger Sunday, March 11, 2007
Carol from Fairfax, VA
I received the FM Transmitter very quickly (less than a week) and in perfect condition. It was a very good value. I compared prices on the internet before purchasing. I get a little bit of static in some places, but overall it's great. I can now listen to my music in the car and charge my Sansa e280 at the same time! I tried a wireless FM transmitter before purchasing this unit. It did not work well for me and didn't charge my MP3, so this is great. I would recommend it.

5 of 5 The Best Charger and FM Transmitter for Sansa Thursday, March 08, 2007
A Customer from Seattle, WA
I have the itrip and it works ok but not great. I read some reviews on another site that said the Maximo san-360 charger and FM transmitter worked better and thought I would give it a try. I have not been disappointed. The sound quality is great and with the three pre-sets it makes it easy to switch to alternate stations when I go on long trips. Unlike the itrip, the san-360 doesn't make any hissing noises and it is easier operate, since the display on the san-360 is on the unit instead the middle of the cable. I just wish I had purchased this one first.

5 of 5 Great Friday, February 16, 2007
A Customer from Heathsville, VA
Transmitter works great in both my vehicles. I was going to replace the marine radio in my boat with a cd player but with the SAN-360, I now have a awesome MP3 player instead. The Sanse e250 takes the knocks and bumps from rough weather with no problems
