| The final chapter ot the enormously successful Matrix trilogy, on screen and on soundtrack, concludes with a massive orchestral score from the series' composer, Don Davis. Boasting a 99-piece orchestra and 80-voice choir, the soundtrack to The Matrix Revolutions is as grand, ominous and epic as the film itself.

The two seemingly disparate sides of the soundtrack actually work quite well together. Davis's score explores the movie's dark, medieval undercurrents with touches of Arvo Part-like, early-music-influenced dissonance, and Juno Reactor's hyper-mechanical beats and ethereal, disembodied vocalizing echo the frightening inhumanity of the robot bad guys. The artists' contributions combine nicely to provide a simultaneously chilling and invigorating listening experience. | Producer: Joel Silver; Don Davis; Juno Reactor; Pale 3 | Engineer: Scott Oyster; John Rodd |
