There are some absolute monsters found throughout the third volume of Universal's Magnum Opus series. A double-disc set boasting disco hits in their full or extended formats (too many disco comps include three- to four-minute radio edits, making sets like this all the more valuable), there are 20 tracks in all, most of which haven't been tainted by dozens of placements on soundtracks and other cheap, cash-in packages. At two discs, it might be a little too extensive for some, but the level of quality is quite remarkable from beginning to end, especially when compared to the majority of other disco compilations available.
