These are not the original Drifters recordings from their most fertile and commercially successful period (1959-64). Instead, they're soundalike remakes made in the '90s by the then-current Drifters' touring ensemble, plus a few bonus covers of more recent songs like Paul Simon's "50 Ways to Leave Your Lover." Authenticity notwithstanding, if you want all-stereo versions of the Drifters hits this is a good buy.
