4 of 5 Good product. Good service. Monday, January 14, 2008
A Customer from Belvidere, IL

I got this MP4 player for Christmas and when I opened it up I found that something was wrong. When I tried to send it to the manufacturer I found that it wasn't covered in their warranty. So I called Buy.com and they were very generous and helped me to return it and get a new one.

3 of 5 You get what you pay for! Tuesday, December 04, 2007
BUDDY T. from AUGUSTA, GA
I cannot complain about the value, because I got it with a combined $50 rebate.(credit card/trio) The unit has good video, IF you can get it converted to this unheard of format (.smv)???? The included software is useless! I have only been able to convert one file so far!!! The firmware update wiped all my files!! The Photo was OK but you must resize the photo to get best results. The Radio is good with headphone as antenna. The record feature is not very usable due to low volume of speaker, which by the way is virtually useless. The unit itself has a very cheap plastic feel to it and the buttons are flimsy feeling. If I had paid the full $49.99 I would be very dissapointed. It would be better to invest more for a more capable unit.

3 of 5 good one Thursday, July 12, 2007
A Customer from HAmmond,LA
It's a good mp4. Works as good as all other expensive 1 gb players. You just charge, plug it in to the computer and load your music. Radio is good. It hard to navigate since you can sometimes get confused, but once you get the hang of it its ok. Video looks descent. If you buy one a good cheap mp3 player that plays music and allows you to see what you have then, this is for you.

5 of 5 great value! Monday, May 28, 2007
A Customer from Bishop, CA
Strong points: great battery life, great display, flexible (I use this with MacOS, Linux, Windows) Granted, it is not as fully managed as the iPod experience, but from that it derives its flexibility. It performs all of its functions well, some better than others. Weak points: FM -- your headphones become the antenna. In areas of weak coverage, you may have to contort into embarrassing positions to keep the station. This is not a fashion accessory -- let's be plain about this Apple have set the high bar for fit, finish and overall design. The GUI has the look and feel of an inexpensive product -- primary colors, bright, cheerful, but something you would expect in a toy targeted to an 8 year old. Negatives aside, this unit performs beautifully. My clunky iPod with a hard drive stays at home now...

4 of 5 Heavy on features / low on price. Tuesday, May 22, 2007
Ben Walker from Golconda, IL
I have had my Mach Speed Trio for a few days and have not found much about it that I don't care for. Transfers from laptop to player are quick, the sound is very good, the video quality is near perfect for a screen this size. The older versions of this player were cheaply built from what I can see but they had the option of increasing the memory capacity, which this product is sorely in need of. The buttons are a bit harsh but at roughly the size of three packs of gun laid side by side, this little device is big on features. Glad I purchased it - it looks nicer in person than it does in the photo. The case is metal so it should survice the shocks of normal use well.

5 of 5 Great deal!!! Saturday, May 12, 2007
Joshua from Miami Beach, Fl
For under $50 this really is a great buy. I went to every retail place to find something in this price range and all I found was really disappointing for $79+. It holds roughly 200 songs. Which is plenty for a work out for about a month or more! I have even traveled and it has a long battery life as well. The FM radio is a great feature, I would like it to go a bit louder, however it is load enough to enjoy. Also it is smaller than a business card and about as thick as a pencil. (Very compact, I run with it every morning) I've had it for about 5-weeks and it's GREAT!!!!! I wish I could have gotten it for $39.89 as advertised now.

3 of 5 Good value Tuesday, May 08, 2007
A Customer from Lawrenceville, GA
On one hand the device is a very good value. It has 1G of memory, plays MP3, displays photos and can even play a compressed video format. It meets my needs for a simple media player that allows playback of MP3 files. I'm satisfied with it. Battery life seems OK. On the other hand, I am a novice to media players. This device leaves me wanting better navigational control and improved functionality. in the area of navigation tools and controls.

3 of 5 Small, good sound, reasonable value. Thursday, April 26, 2007
A Customer from CC Texas
The device is reall small and light, good sound through headphones, speaker not so much, buttons are a little to congested on the unit and functions are not intuitive. Reasonable value for the price.

5 of 5 Great Value Thursday, April 19, 2007
choura@msu.edu from East Lansing Michigan
I was in the market for a MP3 player that would allow playing podcasts, and listen to FM stations. The Trio was just perfect for that but it also pays video, ebook and records audio. The unit is small, simple to use, does exactly what it claims and the price was just right. I would recommend this product to anyone interested in a simple MP3/4 player.

5 of 5 so small and easy to use... Tuesday, April 03, 2007
Skip from Peoria, AZ
This mp3/mp4 is so tiny, it is smaller and sleeker than even the newest cell phones! I take it to the gym and forget it is even on my arm. The functionality to maneuver around within photos, videos and music is so easy! All this for under $60 with buy.com's free shipping! A pretty great deal and I am extremely happy 3 weeks into having the product. I'm glad I did not step up to that other expensive brand and spend more money.
