These headphones have really good sound for the price range. They are corded, so they run off of your sound card, which I like better then the usb ones. These do have a usb connection, but it's to power the head phones, which can get really loud as a result. (volume controls on left ear work good). They are comfortable, have worn them for hours on end, and enjoyed them the whole time. Also they do a good job of sealing outside noises, it's really quite with them on.
One note, you might need to use the included AC to USB adaptor, as pluging the usb into my system created a hum, but was fixed with the AC adaptor.
