That's a broad range of years for any compilation, so there should be some era-to-era speed bumps if you attempt to listen to the disc all the way through. To Universal's credit, there are no such bumps, thanks to a well though-out sequencing job: Peaches & Herb reach Nelson through Lionel Richie, Captain & Tennille, Player, and Extreme. There's a pronounced adult contemporary bent to the selections, but we're dealing with love songs, after all, so it shouldn't be terribly surprising.
