Logitech Z-5450 Digital 5.1 Speaker System

I wasn't 100% in the begging that the performance would be good because of the price, but I decided to go for it because there were not so many options (especially affordable ones) with wireless rear speakers; it couldn't turn-out better. I am very happy with the system altough I have had a couple of glitches where the system reset itself. I highly recommend the system after one year using it and working almost flawless. The other reason that make go fir this device was the multiple input that supported, includding the Coaxial RCA cable, Optical, multiple analog ones and support for DTS.

I bought these speakers because I wanted wireless for the rear speakers. I previously had two Sony wireless rear speakers which didn't do too well because they always had static. So this time, I wanted to try out the logitech wireless because it's using bluetooth. I Got it delivered in a couple of days which was extremely fast with free shipping. Then I hooked it up with my Sharp 42" HDTV and Xbox 360. Wow! The sound was awesome and the picture is nice. The speakers are easy to hook up. I use digital optical cable from my xbox to the control unit and one from my ipod to the stereo connection. Now there is no wire mess, no need for an amplifier which already built in with the sub-woofer. I'm very satisfied. With buy.com, I got a great deal! The only thing negative about this speaker is the sub-woofer which is not earth-shattering, but that's OK for me.

I am not an audiophile, but the surround sound is good. Surprised to have no problems setting it up. Now, I have a basket full of remote controls.

I bought this System last week, installation was damn easy, took less than 10 minutes. Wireless rear speakers are delight. just connect them to the power plugs and u r done, place them wherever u want, and they work flawlessly, Sub is powerful, earth shaking bass, My rating 5/5. System rocks, go for it.

I bought this system so I could have a 5.1 experience with my PC gaming. I pulled it out of the box, set it up, and my mind was blown. Moments later, the Z-5450 replaced my $6k 6.1 rack system connected to my HD screen. I have to buy another one of these for my computer. I had a 15" 400watt Sony subwoofer that can't match the output of this sub. Although my previous rack-mount system was THX Certified as well, this Logitech system flat out annihilates it. Overall sound quality is 5 Stars. You literally have to hear it for yourself to believe it. Instead of spending thousands of dollars on a system from Sony, you really owe it to yourself to hear this system for yourself.

I did a lot of research before purchasing this system. I don’t know how they are able to, but I was able to buy these speakers from Buy.com for a less than half of what the retail price is. I have read several reviews saying that the rear wireless speakers have a hissing sound, and can disrupt cordless phones. I have had these speakers for over a week, and nothing is wrong with them. The subwoofer has so much base that I had to turn it down for fear of pissing off the neighbors. The satellite speakers are fantastic. Simply put, to get a speaker system and a receiver that matches this level of sound quality, you would be spending well over a thousand dollars. It makes no sense not to buy it.

Or the ease of use. This system has worked great for us and has brought new life to our DVD player, Xbox, and multiple other A/V devices. If you want great sound quality and easy set up--get this system. It even looks great.

These speakers are just amazing. I was hesitant to go with an upper-end logitech over a system like Harmon Kardon or Bose. But I am so happy with this purchase. I am hearing details in my music that I've never heard before. Movies are just like being in a movie theater. I tested Bose speakers 2x the cost and they just didn't compare. Set these speakers up in a square with all speakers at the same height and the resonating sound will blow you away. No quality is sacrificed by the wireless rear speakers - they were easy to hang and look great on the wall. A big thanks you Buy.com. Amazing.

I have experience with logitech speakers of this caliber and find these just as impressive. My only "concern" was once the speakers were installed and powered up my wireless network began to have problems. After a couple emails to Logitech customer support, apparently I am the only one with this problem. I say that because after a couple of canned responses I have yet to hear from them again. Moving my wireless router closer to the system has solved my problem but I still have no definate answer as to if the wireless was causing trouble for my 'wireless'. As far as speakers are concerned for pc, home entertainment center, and playstation - these are GREAT.
