I got these at 21 bucks after the mail in rebate, which I got promptly. Total of 40 watts. Not bad for a small room -- the woofer packs quite a punch. Sound quality, especially trebble is not that good, but for 20 bucks if you are looking for just some louder volume compared to what your existing PC churns out, this is a very good buy.

Nice set of speakers for the price. The overall performance is great. Nice highs and mids. Good bass response considering the size of the subwoofer.

These speakers are really neat. I got them for $15 at an awesome deal, and I can't stop raving about them. The only issue, however, is that if the input signal clips, the speakers just mute. This does get a little irritating at times, however, if you reduce the source volume, the problem is usually solved. The sound is gud, however, it does hold an extra ounce of bass (Even when the bass control is all the way down). This can be corrected, again by modifying the input source (usually in the volume control panel), to reduce the amount of bass. All in all, a great speaker set, with long wires and a great sound. Can be easily used for a group of 50-60 people

I got these speakers for $22.95 after rebate! What a freaking steal. If you are looking for a stylish 2.1 speakers with clear sounds this one is for you.

I got this speaker at a very reasonable price. The speaker works great! I use it for gaming and mp3 playing and it's just awsome. The sound coming out from this little thing is incredible. It might not be the most powerful speaker out there but hay if you just want a good and clean looking everyday speaker, you won't be dissapointed.

ive been using these speakers for about three months now with my laptop. they are absolutely incredible. i liked them so much that i bought two more sets for family and friends. everyone who sees them comments on the cool looking and easy to use remote, which i think is one of the best features. also, you can take the grill off of the speakers to make them look even more sweet. i looked at a lot of other speakers before buying these, and for the price, these were by far the best deal. although they might not sound as nice as altec lansing speakers, they are pretty close. the volume goes way louder than i ever need it to go, and the sound is still sharp and clear at loud volumes. the only slight downfall is that the sub volume is on the back of the subwoofer. this is no problem for me though, since i keep my sub at a constant level anyways, unless it is for a party or something. from my experience, i have found logitech to make very durable and quality products. i would recommend this to anyone looking for quality upgrades to their current computer speakers. also, since the price on these is so affordable, i would not recommend any other speakers at all! everyone i know thinks that i have the best computer speakers now, and mine were actually much cheaper than the ones everyone else has! buy these speakers, you won't regret it!

Doesn't get much better than this for $68. Sub and satellites work well together, box is a little boomy, but can be adjusted. Brushed aluminum finish and removable grills are a nice touch which adds to the show. Volume controller is real clean and effective. Installed 3 of these for friends and family, not 1 problem yet.

These are great desktop speakers, not that great for parties in rooms with high ceilings though :). Even with the bass turned all the way down, things were still rattling. The only downside is that the bass control is behind the sub so make sure you can have easy access when setting up the speakers. Overall, these speakers can be as loud as you want them to be and still be clear, as long as you are listening to them on your desktop.

Like many have said, these 2.1 speakers are perfect for a little room. Preferabbly, in an area where you can display the beauty of the speakers. Build quality is just solid. And suprisingly, the satelite speakers are very heavy, not what I am accustomed too from 2.1 speakers. Overall, these speakers are great for music and are decent for watching DVDs. They offer very good bass. The satelites could be a little louder, but are more than adequate for a small to medium room. My room is about 15x18 and it sounds good. I have connected this to my DVD/TV(w/ the included adapter) and it sounds gorgeous. Defenitely worth the price. I bought these when they were $25 only.

The Logitech Z-3 system is a great value and performs well. You'd have to jump up to Klipsch at $400+ to do better! I now hear the higher notes with clarity, mid-range is fine, and the adjustable bass is solid, all in nice looking wood-grained decor. Easy to setup and the low price! Wow! Go for it.

these speakers are awsome. I love that it has a head phone jack on the remote so i don't have to go to the back of my comp when i play video games. and they put out awsome sound, i can crank it up and i hear the music in the shower which is about 15 ft away behind the door. i really recommend these speakers

This is a great product but w/ limited range of applications. Sound response is very decent for music and movies - in fact i thought the bass was too boomy and kept the level pretty low. Others are right, you can't crank it up w/o distortion and bad frequency response. But again, I doubt that it was designed for that. Given its appearance - brushed metal and polished wood - and the fact that it's 2.1, I at least plan to use it in my office at work. It's far better than stock speakers obviously, and is appropriate for the sound level you would use in your workplace. As someone else noted, the way the system connects together is a little strange, but is unobtrusive once set up. The gigantic volume wheel is cool (I've never seen a piece of audio equipment that wouldn't benefit from a huge volume knob!), as is the blue power LED. Easily accessible headphone jack is nice too. Conclusion: don't use it to stage a rave. Creative makes great surround systems now that don't cost much, provided you have sound card support, so i would pick one of those over this for movies. BUT - this looks great, and is probably as good as 2.1 gets. And logitech has a $20 rebate going now (buy.com should provide links to that kind of thing) - for $5 to $10, this thing is a steal.

Think we received a defective unit, however Buy.com makes it really easy to RMA. As noted by someone else - clipping seems to start around 60% volume - these don't get very loud when cranked all the way up, either. Returning for replacement due to buzzing that occurs during playback, most noteably during classical music recordings - trumpets cause buzzing and piano songs even have buzzing. Tried plugging speakers into another computer and into the headphone jack of a cd writer - still buzzes. However, speakers are very aesthetically pleasing.

I am impressed with the Z3 SPEAKERS 40W BRUSHED ALUMINUM FACE. I was expecting much less for $37.00. The quality is even more suprising- great base and volume. Definitely recommend the Z3 speak system.

Thanks to buy.com's low prices and rebates I was able to buy these speakers for less than $20. Now if that ain't value I don't know what is. These speakers are superb quality with incredible clairty. The subwoofer seems to have a pretty narrow range but they are still the best 2.1 speaker system I've ever owned. Bottom line is: I am very happy with these speakers and I can guarantee you would be too if you had them

Go to any retailer and I guarantee you you won't find anything like this for underf $20. Read ratings....best buy...9/10....for retail price then of $149.95 (still that price on logitech.com). They sound great.....don't miss out...rebate expires 11/15.

I got these in 7 $ ( 27 - 20 rebate ) and they are too good. Nice and smooth music. Base is little strong, still I love these. Opted for a 0$ shipping ( 9-11 days ) and buy.com delivered this in < 48 hours !!! Wow, that is called service. I am a regular at Amazon and NewEgg but now onwards I will check buy.com.

Just bought this a few days ago when it was $27.00 (plus 20 rebate so total after rebate was $7.00). Ordered it with free shipping and to my suprise it was at my front doorstep in 2 business days. That is some fast shipping!!! It took literally less then 5 minutes to get the whole thing set up. Sound is very clear...just wished it was a bit louder. The speakers are very sturdy and if you don't want to spend crazy amount of money, then i highly recommend this.

Alright first of all the price was definatly rite on these speakers. Now in terms of look they are very cool the wood is a nice touch. The wireing however is a little strange and make the possitioning defficult but once there were set up they looked great. Now in terms of soun they are great i feel they could have a lil more bass but thats just me and there is a lil distorion when u term it up.

I bought a set a month or two ago when the set cost more than $50 before rebate. The speakers sound very nice and look awesome. I also like the wired remote with its big volume knob and headphone jack. Looks like Logitech is getting ready to refresh its speaker lineup. These are a bargain.

I got one of the best deals anyone could for these speakers.. $55 buy.com price and $20 Rebate from Logitech, $35! I've been a Logitech customer for over 5years now, I was always very satisfied with their Mouse product line, and now these speakers! I got these for my parents since they lacked an entertainment system in order to play their CD's. The sound is crisp and the subwoofer is powerful, all this at only 40watts! I'm definately purchasing a set of these for my Laptop.

These speakers are great. They look real nice, they are well-featured, and they sound pretty good. Granted, "pretty good" is relative to other computer speakers. Compared to similarly priced speakers, these are probably the best you will find anywhere. Top marks in all categories except Performance because sound. Don't get me wroing, they sound great, but, i'm kinda picky about speakers and these don't quite have the highs i want and the sub is a little muddy. Basically, in my opinion, that's the primary flaw in all speaker systems that use small speakers and a bass cabinet to fill in the lows.... muddy sound. For gaming, movie watching, or even basic MP3 listening, they're fine. For what it's worth, i'm buying a second set. They (logitech) also get great credit for the way they set up the cables. Instead of having a mess of wires to each speaker and the remote, a single bundled cable connects all three to the cabinet. Then, if you need to space out the remote, or the speakers a little more, you can just pull on the cable to separate the three bundled cables. A cable stop keeps you from separating the cable all the way to the connector. An inexpensive trick, but a very nice touch.

I just recieved these today. They are awesome. I have a set of Creative 5.1's I was replacing with these. The creatives were maybe a tad 'louder', but these have a very quality sound to them. Also, the speakers are beautiful in design. The only gripe I have is the way that the speakers are hard wired to the controller. It made it a little more time involved to position them right. All in all a great product.

I'll sum it up for ya; you will not find a better sounding set of speakers for your pc at this price.. period. The subwoofer punches out desk shaking bass; crisp & very deep, the highs are sharp & clear; a little lacking in the mid range perhaps but easy to compensate for, with some equalization. The headphone jack is another plus. I would recommend these very highly. I still can't believe they're selling them at such a low price. They sound like a set of $200.00 monitors; it's just amazing! They will NOT disappoint. Did I mention, They just look awsome too! A Tripple+++

Pros: Stylish. Good value. Cons: The highs get clipped off at above 65% volume. These speakers are perfect for a small room or office or for someone who doesn't crank up the volume all the way. I currently also own the Logitech Z640s which is a 5.1 set using the same subwoofer. The z640s definitely blow away the Z3s at higher levels in terms of treble and clarity. The Z3s highs get cut off when you pump up the volume too much. Overall I'm happy with the purchase. For everyday listening they are strong enough to please and in terms of look, they are very stylish.

For $23 after rebate, these are totally worth it. I've owned different 2.1 speakers from creative and logitech. However, these produce such CLEAR mid and high ends that you can bearly hear with other decent speaker sets out there. The sound is so crystal clear that I am actually amazed because I never expected them to be so good. The subwoofer provides clean bass. It is a closed-enclosure box so don't expect the overpowered distorted bass that an open box sub can produce. However, their design makes super clean bass to go with the crisp sound. The looks are amazing and the sound is superb. One thing though, I would recommend having the subwoofer on the table instead of on the floor if you want the most out of the subwoofer. The design is really impressive, especially the tweeters. Buy one, and don't regret.

For $25 (after rebate), these speakers can't be beat! Sound quality is pretty good and clear. However, there is noticable bass distortion and thumping from the subwoofer when you play music that is more bass oriented. After reading so many raving reviews, especially with regards to the subwoofer, I really was expecting more. Compared to the almost 10 year old Altec Lansing ACS45.1 speakers they replaced, these speakers are definitely better but not by a whole lot. But for the price, they're definitely worth it.
