Very user-friendly designed and functioned. Battery life is very good (I have not changed battery since I bought it a few months ago). Snag-in USB wirless adaptor is really cool. No compaint. Buy.com did a good job shipping my order.

I am very happy with this purchase. It is a perfect size for my hand. Not too big and not too small. All the buttons are sweet, as i upgraded from a standard 3 button mouse this thing just blows me away. My only complaint would be the scroller I dont like ones that click instead of just smooth scrolling. but again very minor and still deserves 5 out of 5

I love mine so much, I got two more for my clients after they tried mine. I've had my first on now since June, and use it with my MacBook Pro. I have replaced the single AA battery ONE time since getting the mouse, and I use it for 4-8 hours daily. HIGHLY recommend this mouse, and love the fast scroll mode for the wheel, it makes scrolling through source code and news articles much more bearable.

I was concerned about the reduced size of this mouse having gotten used to the MX620. After reading other users reviews, I decided to take the plunge and purchase the VX. I am very pleased with the feel and operation of the VX. The smaller size is still very comfortable. Also the nice little storage compartment for the USB device is a nice touch. Stow it away for transport and the mouse power is automatically shut off, conserving the battery. I would purchase this mouse again without any hesitation.

I use a Logitech MX everyday for work and love it so buying this smaller version for home was an easy decision. This is definitely smaller than a regularly sized mouse but not quite as small as a traditional "laptop" mouse so you can use it for a long time and your hand doesn't cramp up. It also has more featuers than a simple laptop mouse which is great if you work with graphics. I would buy it again if I needed to and would recommend it.

This mouse works great and is the perfect size for me: not too large, not too small. I own a MX Revolution for my desktop and loved that one so much that I decided to get the VX for my laptop. I am glad that I got this as opposed to the smaller VX Nano. The zoom slider is great, as I reprogrammed it to be a volume control. The scroll wheel is top-notch and adjustable (I prefer no clicks). In all, a FANTASTIC notebook mouse... you won't be disappointed!

This mouse is amazing, its a must buy. The scroll wheel is a great feature with the ability to change the tension so that you can scroll fast or slow. Very accurate and is a great addition to any laptop. The delivery time from Buy.com was also very fast.

I thought I had somewhat small hands, but this thing is still just a tad small for me. My wrist naturally wants to rest of the mousing surface, which is a bad thing ergonomically. I used to have the Logitech MX500 before for about 4-5 years, until the left/right-click became unresponsive after quick and/or heavy repetitive clicks. That mouse was slightly big for me. IN TERMS OF FORM, it conforms to my hand much better at the top portion of the mouse. To properly grip it, my entire thumb needs to go further in, which isn't terribly comfortable. I'd prefer if the thumb naturally curved around more. I normally right-click with my middle finger, and so with this mouse, my ring finger is perfectly positioned, but my pinky finger is kind of left close to the mousing surface, often touching it when at rest. THE WHEEL is pretty nice. In terms of functionality, it's great. I don't often use the hyper-fast scrolling, but I generally rely on the standard click mode. Personally, it's a little on the noisy side when I want to scroll a good page or two. Also, due to a combination of 1) down curve to the right side of the mouse (ergonomically great), and 2) using my index finger to use the wheel, when I click down on it, it often also moves to the right, which, if I were still an moderately heavy FPS gamer, would not be acceptable. Since I'm very light in gaming, it hasn't caused any problems yet. I just notice that it happens fairly often. The normally LEFT/RIGHT-CLICK is also quite loud compared to my previous mice, which is fairly important to me. Responsiveness generally works, but maybe once every other day it doesn't quite work and I have to put my finger either further or closer from the middle of the mouse to detect, then afterward, it responds like normal in the normal clicking spot. THE BACK/FORWARD BUTTONS work as advertised and feel solid. They're also as quiet as what I'd wish the normal left/right click were to be. In a perfect world, I'd prefer they were about 1/8" lower, just above where my thumb rests, so I could just roll my thumb up rather than needing to slide up. Small detail, I know. THE SEARCH BUTTON can have it's uses, especially on a browser, but it's position behind the wheel is too much of a hassle due to awkwardly lifting my palm of my hand off the mouse and curling up my finger to reach it. It's much more naturally to flick my wrist to the search bar instead. It would have made wonders if it replaced the zoom slider, like the MX620. The zoom feature is completely useless for my usage. I can't say much on THE BATTERY LIFE yet as I've only had it in my hands for the last two weeks, but I do like only needing one AA versus the standard two AA. It's still a bit on the weighty side in terms of it's size. Generally, weight --> slower response time --> lower gamer score. THE WIRELESSNESS is great. This is my first jump to without a wire. I don't mind not being bluetooth, but it would have been a nice touch. I've had no issues with connectivity. In terms of motion, it's gameable. Again though, I'm not completely sure about the click reliability yet. I'm not quite a fan of NOT ABLE TO OPEN UP THE MOUSE, at least easily like previous models. Over time, when people think a mouse is dead, if you open it up, there could be a simple solution to bring it back to life and last another good year or so like my MX500. I've heard the wheel would expand slightly due to time and heat, which would render the frictionless scrolling useless. That's something I'm not terribly concerned about, but may be worth noting. OVERALL/SUMMARY, I personally put a little too much hope that this would be "the one" Logitech finally made just for me. Definitely not for moderate-to-heavy FPS gamers due to the sub-90% click reliability and loud click noises. GOOD THINGS, no comment yet on the battery life, but I do like using only one AA versus two, wireless works flawlessly, hi-techy wheel, and back/forward button feel solid and are quiet (slightly high though). BAD THINGS, it's slightly too small for my somewhat small hand, the thumb and pink needs more surface area to rest comfortably and naturally, the wheel works as expected, but, like the right/left-click, is noticeably loud, and search button should replace the zoom slider.

Logitech keeps improving their products. This is my third generation of laser mouse, each one is better. It is small enough to pack in the laptop case, but large enough that you can use it for hours without it cramping your hand like some of the tiny laptop mice. Stowing the USB connector inside the mouse it cool, and the power button is easier to get to that previous models. Good price, prompt delivery. Overall very pleased.

Bought this for use with a new laptop which I recently purchased as desktop-replacement. The laptop's touchpad is fine, but my fat fingers often would hit the "scroll" sections along the right and bottom of the pad. The mouse solves that problem, and is also ergonomically much better since I can locate the mouse off to my right in a more relaxed position. This is the fourth Logitech wireless mouse I have owned in the past dozen years, and their quality, design, and innovation appears to be as good as ever--I would never hesitate to recommend their products.

The hyper-scrolling feature has to be enabled by a physical switch on the bottom of the mouse, unlike the "MX Revolution" which has a smart switch that switches to hs mode when in certain applications and/or based on the speed you are spinning the scroll wheel. I was very disappointed to find this out for myself. I assumed it worked the same as the MX Revolution because it did not say otherwise anywhere in the product information on this site or logitech's site! It is inconvenient to flip the mouse over and physically switch it, and I do not want to leave it on hyper scrolling because makes slight annoying scrolling movements when just moving the mouse without touching the wheel because the wheel is very sensitive to movement in hs mode. Overall, it's a nice mouse, but I'm disappointed that the feature I was buying the mouse for does not work as expected.

This mouse is incredible! It zooms in, has an ultra sensitive green laser (instead of red), goes forward and backwards in web pages, and even works on a polished stainless steel desk top. Now that I know how good it works I would have paid 60 bucks for it, but at 30 bucks, buy 3! Five stars hands down.

The best I've found, and I've owned a lot of laptop mice - searching for the most comfortable with the most features. This is the best for size and features that I've found. The stowaway for the USB transmitter is great & and even turns off the mouse when you insert it.

Battery life is a little short compared to some, but it works fine. Time will tell if spring mounted cavity will hold up for storing RF receiver. I like that it is not undersized like many laptop mice.

Firstly, the item has been delivered in time,thanks to Buy.com. Coming to the performance of the Logitech mouse, its par excellent by its sheer looks and performance.As I am used to wired mouse, this wireless one made me feel amazed,amused , absolutely thrilled.The clicks are feather touch, the scrolling is so smooth and just out of curiosity i found that it can operate from quite a long distance , even through the opaque walls(the blutooth mouse falied to do that and as well as the laser microsoft mouse failed miserably in this aspect).On the whole, its a good buy.Very few items give such a satisfaction once we buy them.

For starters I like the size of this mouse. So many laptop mice are way to small. The mouse has great response and many cool features. The zoom is very cool and the Hyper Wheel is great. Two thumbs up!

I have rebates coming that I still have to keep track of but all in all, its a great little mouse. I originally thought this was the VX Nano, so when I saw the USB Connector, I was a bit disappointed. But the mouse works, has fully customizable buttons through the Logitech Mouse and Keyboard Control Center, and has that nifty hyperscroll feature added in for flying through long documents. One bad thing about my hyperscroll is that when I set it to hyperscroll (Mouse has 2 functions: Precision ratchet and hyperscroll) and move the mouse, the page scrolls. Not sure if the wheel is too loose or if it's something else. The mouse is incredibly small and has a ice little shut off trick: Stow the receiver inside the mouse and it switches off automatically. Press the eject button to get it out and the mouse turns on, so as to save battery power. The zoom button is great, but I don't use it that often and I wish that the one touch search button would be more customizable as you can only use 5 search engines and no more, not even the option for more. This is a great little mouse and although it's slightly larger than the Nano I thought I was getting it's still very handy for my laptop.

This is a great mouse, after my Logitech MX mouse died I wanted to find a mouse just like it that I could use for my desktop. After much research and testing of mice at stores I decided to get this mouse. I was concerned at first that even with all the great reviews and features that it would not respond as well in games. It takes a little getting used to the mouse, but once you setup your mouse speeds it's perfect and game response is great. The only possible down side is that it's just a little short for my palm so it feels different from my other mice using it but I'm getting more and more used to it.

Fantastic wireless USB device. This mouse works without any glitches or hesitation of any kind. It's fast! Range is fantastic as well. Size is comfortable in your hand (feels as natural as using a standard size mouse, but it is a little bit smaller of course). You will love how the USB receiver stores inside the mouse to prevent loss! (Simply push it into the side of the mouse. It securely clicks in place AND even shuts off power to the mouse simultaneously! An easy one touch release button ejects the USB receiver and powers up the mouse so it’s ready to use again. Very smart and practical design, Logitech!) I have now gotten to the point where I just won't even consider other brands. Logitech is superior. I highly recommended this mouse! Excellent price from BUY.COM, too!

I got this mouse after reading all of the great reviews because my old logitech wireless mouse started getting finicky. Setup and connection is fast and easy, the mouse works on every surface I've used so far, the programmable buttons are very useful (and can be customized for different programs), and the mouse fits very ergonomically in my hand. The mini USB receiver fits right into the mouse and makes it very portable. There isn't any noticeable lag like some other wireless mice and the scroll wheel feels very smooth (and can also be set to click to spin freely). The battery indicator is also useful, but I tend to keep backups available anyways. Another feature I like is that the mouse can be turned off without reinserting the USB receiver. Altogether, it's a great mouse, and I haven't had any problems with it yet.

This mouse works great and is extremely comfortable to use. It is very functional, setup is a snap. The USB dongle storage is very handy. It's just small enough to carry along with your laptop but large enough to use all day long. The best mouse I've ever used.

It was extremely easy to set up (and should be). At first the scroller was irritating me because of how slow it would scroll on some screen and how fast it would scroll on others (dont know what alters between screens). After messing with the settings it made it less noticable though. The convinient storage of the USB plug is one of my favorite things about it because I use a laptop for gaming now. I thought at first that with so many buttons it would make gaming easier but I have yet to discover how to program buttons for particular in game actions (if possible). Forward and backwards buttons are handy and the search button can be set up for any website. Overall I love this mouse. In comparison to any other mouse I have used it is the best. (I play video games a lot and have used many different set ups)

this is a great mouse, I just have one gripe, the VX for laptops is not rechargeable like its MX counterpart for desktops. Although they are both compatible with either.

Logitech makes some great products, this mouse is one of them. I got one for my laptop and liked the looks, funtionality and size so much that I got one for my desktop PC also. Battery saving switch to shut mouse off once the USB adapter is stored in it is a big plus for saving the battery from a premature death.

Logitech has done it again...great little tool for my laptop. Installation was mindless and operation is intuitive. The micro_receiver storage is an absolute plus....scrolling and zooming features are great. The deal and service at Buy.com were outstanding as usual. I had stayed away from cordless since my experience a few years back had been negative. Logitech has transported me back into the real world. You can't miss with this product.

I have been looking for the perfect notebook mouse. I do CAD work and needed a mouse that worked very well for the software I use. In addition, I wanted something small and portable with plenty of buttons that I could customize. My most recent mouse was a Microsoft Wireless Notebook Presenter Mouse 8000. My laptop has bluetooth and I wanted to take advantage of this feature so I did not have to plug in a dongle for my mouse. The Microsoft mouse proved to be a little uncomfortable and not very accurate. I had a lot of trouble with the tracking. Then, I purchased the Logitech VX Revolution. It is wonderful. It does not have bluetooth and does require the dongle, but it has not been much trouble to plug it in. In fact, this mouse is so accurate that it exceeds any notebook mouse I have ever used. It is quick, responsive and very comfortable in my hand. Also, this mouse has 8 buttons that can be customized in addition to the left and right click. You have Forward, Back, Zoom +, Zoom -, Quick Search, Scroll Wheel Left, Scroll Wheel Right, and Scroll Wheel Middle click. Using the Logitech Setpoint software with the Uberoptions addon, you can customize every button based on the program you are currently using. Overall, I am very satisfied with this mouse. It is one of the best I have ever used and would recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, accuracy and customizable buttons.

Full featured & well designed mouse. USB transmitter stores in mouse body when not in use - saving battery power & reducing chances of losing transmitter. Setpoint software is easy to install & tailor for your preferences. Mouse is a bit small relative to conventional desktop mice, but is larger than most "notebook" mice. VERY comfortable in your hand and, for me, much preferable to pointing devices in most laptops. Indeed, I like this mouse so much I bought a second to use on my desktop

I bought couple of these for work. The president of the company had been unhappy with the Microsoft wireless mouse he had been using for over a year - it constantly needed battery changed. So I bought one for him and another for his assistant. The install was pretty easy. After plugging in the USB receiver it was instantly detected by Window. I did not bother with the software that came with it. I told the assistant that if she wanted the extra features to let me know so I could install and configure it. It's been a week and a half and I have not heard any complaints. As a matter of fact, when I passed by the assistant's office last Monday I asked how the mouse was working for her. All she said was "Awesome!".

After reading reviews here, I bought this mouse, it is what I expected. Buttons feel good, it is well made, the transmitter fitting inside mouse is cool also. Some things that could be better: it is a bit large - I prefer the size of the other logitech notebook mouse i have since it is smaller most functions work without any extra drivers - but I wish the zoom worked. like someone else mentioned, the zoom button is a bit sticky and hard to push i wish the middle button that pulls up the search could be programmed (without extra software) to do other things But, this has become my number 1 mouse for now...and I look forward to using it.

It took several attempts to get the software installed properly,hence the 3 rating for ease of use. I suspect this is more a Vista issue since I also had trouble installing a microsoft mouse on this machine. Once installed I was very impressed.Great price.Very attractive and comfortable design.Many highly customizable buttons.Only slightly smaller than a regular sized mouse.Highly recommended,especially if you're running XP.

After trying several to use with my built-in bluetooth, incluing the worst--the Iogear laptop bluetooth, I checked this one out. Best mouse I have ever used. Never loses the connection, easy to use on any surface and love the portable usb plug stow-away.
