I could not be more pleased with this mouse. It is hands down the best laptop mouse I've ever used. I have not been able to get it out of range, and I love how the receiver is so tiny and you don't have to worry about breaking it off. Aside from the tiny receiver, my favorite feature about this mouse is the two modes of the scroll wheel. In one mode it clicks like most scroll wheels do, in the other it will free spin which allows to you scroll up and down very fast. Being a software developer, I use this functionality extensively. This clip on attachment to the laptop itself works awesome as well. Everything about this mouse is 100% top notch. I would not consider getting another mouse for my laptop.

it was working great for about 10 days then all of sudden connection for the mouse reset every minute, work for 3 seconds then reset again. (the green led lit green when it works) It's very frusturating. I even download the software and install on other PC, same result. Spent way too much time try to make it work and finally RMA'ed it. Hopfully it's a isolate case 'cause i really love it when it works. The size took a while to get used to it now i feels my good old MS intellimouse kinda big.

I completely agree with with all the positive comments. I have only used a wireless mouse on occaision, and never been all that satisfied. This mouse however tracks on everything I've tried, and seems as well connected as a wired mouse. Buy.com service was also excellent.

I don't have a bad thing to say, the shape just take a little getting used to but attaching to the laptop is PERFECT for my needs. Also, the distance the mouse will work from the reciever is exceptional.

Moue works awesome, even on the couch. The automatic turn off feature is nice and the included clip is more handy than I originally thought it would be. The receiver is so small, it never needs to be taken out.

Oh though a little smaller than a normal mouse, you get used to the size quickly. Push down on the wheel and the free wheeling feature is great!

Great mouse! Manual is not great. Compared to other ergodic mouse, less comfortable. Wrt price, still good!

Excellent product! Easy setup and use. Attractive design. Tiny receiver nub can be left in the laptop without fear of bumping it and damaging the motherboard.

I have tried many different mice and this one is head and shoulders better then the rest in this price range. The programmable buttons and the spin wheel work great. The coolest feature is the application switcher allowing you to see all the open windows at one time.

Very pleased with the V550 Nano mouse. Not very technical so I appreciate the ease of the "just plug and go" feature. Once the receiver is plugged into my laptop, everything works. Can use it on the arm of a couch or any flat surface. If I could change anything, it would only be the the size of the mouse (smaller would be better) and having it shut off automatically once the laptop is in sleep or shutdown mode. Have not tried the feature of attaching it to my laptop yet. Overall, I am very happy with both the cordless mouse and my dealings with Buy.com. The price and the free shipping was great!

fantastic mouse - easy install - usb receiver is really small - the glue on docking station for the mouse is a great idea - turns off the battery when docked

This V550 Nano is the best mouse I have ever used. I really had my heart set on the VX nano but when this came available for $29.99 with free shipping I couldn't pass it up. It is just as responsive as the VX Nano as it uses the same laser technology and also uses the exact same scroll wheel which is supper smooth and very fast. You can set to spin freely or push down on it and it will click, your choice. The software that comes with it is very good and you have two more customizable features you can assign to it. I used page forward and page back for internet browsing. It might not be the prettiest of mice and certainly not as sexy as the VX Nano but I like the simplistic design of it. As for the clips that come with it so you can mount it on your laptop I cannot comment on that feature as i chose not to stick it on my brand new HP DV5. Just couldn't see marking up my BN computer. That's just me! I hear that it work well though. Anyway I would definitely give this one a chance if you can find it at a discount. Personally I can't see paying any more than $30 for any mouse, especially not twice as much.

I've had several mice, corded, wireless, and optical, but this laser cordless mouse is noticeably the best. The precision is great and the flexibility to use accurately on almost any surface is a welcome relief to my new notebook's built-in mousepad. The nub of USB connector allows me to leave it installed without fear of breaking it off when I move my laptop.

The mouse is ok and I have no problem with Buy.com. I do, however, have a problem with Logitech. After waiting several weeks and receiving no rebate, I went back through my e-mails to track my so-called rebate. It gave status as Invalid, reason "Missing UPC". I had sent in the complete and original UPC, cut from the bubble pack envelope, and even kept a photocopy, as I do with all transactions. Sleazy. I will never buy a Logitech product again.

Though it is bit bulky and the design is not catchy, but this product is perfect. It works on any surface I have used yet. The best part is its adjustable speed of pointer, I could use it seamlessly even when I didn't have space equal to a mouse pad for it

I had no success with BT mouse and needed something low profile without having the long receiver sticking out the machine. The product is perfect. My support requires me to move my tablet PC around the office so having a small receiver and the mouse attached to the top is so handy... no cons...

This is the best notebook mouse I've ever owned. The USB receiver is tiny; I simply leave it plugged in. The laser mouse works on almost any surface, including the arm of a leather chair. The scroll wheel is marvelous and has two modes: 1) a "free spinning" mode that can scroll through lengthy pages with ease, and 2) a "clickable" mode. You toggle between the modes by pushing on the scroll wheel. Can't go wrong for fifty - twenty (rebate) = thirty clams.

[[Hey, buy.com -- how about letting me put line breaks in my review?!? ]] ............................................................... Cons first, then pros. ............................................................... A little too expensive -- I bought it because of the rebate in effect mid-January. That brought the price down to $29 and change. $49 is way too much to pay for a mouse. ............................................................... It's also bigger than I expected. Taller (thicker?). But the batteries have to go somewhere. And I'd rather have a little more size and use AA batteries (it does) rather than smaller with AAA batteries that burn out that much faster. ............................................................... My favorite part is the tiny USB receiver. Not only can I leave it in the USB port of my laptop all the time, but there's a storage port for it inside the mouse if I'm moving the whole thing. ............................................................... So far, battery life seems good. But I've only had it less than a month, so they better still be alive!

Simple but elegant concept. Very convenient. Wondering how long the adhesive on the nipple will hold. Love the nub-sized USB receiver which allows it to remain in place while the computer is not in use.

The mouse is fine for use with a laptop. It connects with the usb plug flawlessly and acts as you would expect. I like the dock that Logitech has created to stick on the laptop cover. It keeps the mouse handy.

This is a pretty nice little set up. Mouse functions as expected and is smaller than some out there. Not sure if $30 was much of a deal but we needed one and I wanted the nano receiver. Well worth it. The receiver only extends from the USB port about a 1/4 of an inch so it won't be as vulnerable to braking off while on the go like some of the others out there. Receiver stores in battery compartment if you ever need to remove it from the USB port. You also get a USB extension cable, 3 different docks, dock removal tool, and batteries. All in all very happy with the purchase. Only con I can think of is that there is no software CD, if you want to have some additional functionality you have to download Setpoint from their web site (at no additional cost). But would have been easier to install from a CD in my opinion.

Nice mouse. I have nothing but cordless Logitech Mice. I had a kensington and was just not up to the same quality. Size wise, however, the mouse could have bit a bit slimmer, more contoured and less slanted. The nano receiver is by far the best form factor for the receiver out there....
