5 of 5 Excellent Mini Mouse Wednesday, November 01, 2006 Max from Brooklyn, New York
I had this mouse over a year now, ever since it came out. I use it all the time along with my laptop. This mouse isn't so small that it feels uncomfortable, I do not have small hands. The battery life is excellent, I have been using rechargable NiMH cells with it and find that regular Alkaline Duracells work slightly longer but will cost more in the long run. The scrolling arrows have began to wear off now as well as the logitech symbol. I have dropped the mouse on several occasions without any significant damage. The only thing that I do not like about it is how loud the clicks are. I would prefer them to be slightly dampened for less noise. I have also found the side scrolling to be a bit annoying as it doesn't work well; but then again I barely have to do any side scrolling, wish it was just a bit more reliable when I did need it. The Range on the mouse is excellent. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Great mouse no Windows 2003 drivers Wednesday, December 14, 2005 Kimba from Kent, WA
Just got the product and my initial impressions are good. I am a bit disappointed that Logitech doesn't offer any drivers for Windows 2003 but not many hardware manufacturers do. Other than that I'm sure I will be using my new mouse on both my work and home notebooks. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Cool Mouse Tuesday, October 18, 2005 SteveA from Trophy Club,TX
Logitech makes well-built equipment. This mouse is very stylish, while having some cool features, such as the ability for the USB receiver to slide into a special compartment within the mouse for storage. Also, comes with a cool carrying case. The scroller function is a bit difficult to get use to, but is a cool concept. Was this review helpful?

I have been a customer of Logitech mice for the past 6years, and this is my fourth mouse from them. I had all the MouseMan mice even the one with the ball, which I still have because it had the best shape and feel for my hand. I went to the optical versions afterwards including the MX500. Then I got a Laptop and wanted somehting smaller, portable, and wireless so it would keep my organized work area to a minumum. I had a Kensington Pocket Mouse, but the range and battery life went down the drain. I stuck to my MX500 for laptop use until now. This mouse is everything I want in a Laptop mouse. Though I miss the double click button the MouseMan provided.. it redeems itself with the scrolling surface. Much cooler than a wheel. One hting I do not like is the clicks are a bit loud and that the height is not adjustable, it will remain on only in the up position, I'd like sometting lower for my hand. I heard the power consumptio non htese things has been minimized and the batteries last as much as 2-3months which is great opposed to the one week I had with the Kensington mouse. I still use a huge RatPadz mousing surface for it and it just floats on it.
It is a bit pricey for a small mouse like this..
Another great product from logitech. Was this review helpful?

I got this for my new laptop mainly because I wasn't happy with the touchpad. I wanted something easy to use and portable. This unit is both, plus has a higher tracking sensitivity than most wireless mice with respect to the optical background needed. It is a little small for my hand but portability matters. It comes with a zippered travel pouch. The software installed easily and detected my touchpad and did not interfere with its simultaneous use. Since I'm used to a touchpad, the wheeless scrolling was comfortable and I especially like the the continuous auto-scroll feature which my ALPS touchpad doesn't handle the same way, although I've used other touchpads which employed the 'throw and catch' method of scrolling long documents. Compared to the features of other laptop mice I've looked at this was a pretty good value. Was this review helpful?
