This is one of the most comfortable mouses (mice?) I have used... it just feels great in my hand.... love the soft sides! The scroll wheel is extremely smooth to operate, and the nano receiver is so convenient since I can leave it in my laptop when I put it in the case to travel. It is definitely nice to not have to worry about it getting broken like my previous Logitech travel mouse whose receiver stuck out a couple of inches from the USB port and was very vulnerable to getting bumped or caught when I moved the laptop around.
About the only things I can suggest is to include a little zipper case to store it in for protection when travelling (my previous logitech had one), and a thumb button for double-click.

This mouse works great. The best thing is the small USB receiver. I take my tablet PC home everyday in my backpack and just leave the receiver in. It's so tiny it doesn't snag on anything.
The tracking and sensitivity is good too. I use it on the arm of my recliner and don't have any trouble.
FYI. the only problem I had has to do with Windows Vista. After installing the mouse the computer would wake up immediately after putting it to sleep. Just go to Control Panel and Mouse then change the power setting so the mouse cannot wake up the PC. Was this review helpful?

Excellent mouse. Works on all surface. I have a Vx Revolution. When working on a bed Vx sometimes seems to skip a beat. Not a problem with this mouse.

The only compalint I have is about the rebates.
I had purchased this mouse from this website only because I was getting a rebate on this product. I think it is impossible to get rebate from Logitech. I sent them all the documents for my rebate but they still asking me for something or the other. I gave up. The products are good but be careful about rebates. This is an excellent product and looks great to boot. Because the USB receiver is so small, there are no worries about it being in the way or being damaged from general laptop use. I've had no issues with the mouse dropping signals from acceptable ranges (up to 5' daily). Also, being a notebook mouse, I was concerned that the product would be too small to use productively day to day, but again, no issues. I have medium sized man hands and I would be comfortable using this as a dedicated workstation device if required. The laser works well on many different surfaces (leather couch, oak coffee table, jeans, old magazine, pizza box) and the tilt (side to side) wheel is great to use when browsing the net.

I was able to take the mouse out of the package and figure out how to set it up without the manual. But - take a look at the manual anyway. There is a neat feature to the mouse that you will discover there.
The mouse is very slightly smaller than a standard mouse, but not too small. It has a nice shape. I love the fact that there is nothing "dangling" and I don't have to remove the USB plug.

Most beautiful mouse I ever owned or have seen. Works perfectly and has a tiny transmitter that fits almost flush with the notebook, thus nearly invisible or liable to break by colliding with objects while moving around. Also noteworthy is Buy.com service, which could not be better.

The Logitech V450 mouse is responsive with no delay and great response. It's size is perfect. Even though it may or may not use much battery power without turning the mouse off, I like the fact that it has an on/off switch. The best thing is the size of the size of the USB receiver. Unlike all other notebook mice, I have owned, this receiver is totally out of the way. Great Job of engineering!!! Was this review helpful?

Love this mouse. The receiver that plugs into the usb port on the laptop is small enough that you can leave it plugged in all the time. Even when you pack up the laptop to travel. Or you can store the thing inside the mouse if need be for traveling. Nice touch! Mouse is very precise and easy to use. Size is good while not being overly tiny making it easy to use. Its small receiver means you don't have to remove it after use, and it does not risk damaging the USB port like a long receiver would. The mouse feels heavy with battery -- which feels good for control. Got it for $20 after rebate so it was a great deal. Was this review helpful?

I was looking for the VX Nano. And found this one.
Mouse feels great! The USB adapter is also very small. However, usb plug (the metal head) doesn't go in completely - a little bit stills out. This is with an ThinkPad T61. Maybe, I'm being too picky.
Effective price was $20, with a $15 logitech mail-in rebate. Don't think I can find anything better at that price.
