I have several other LogiTech mice, that seem to perform a lot better... given their price was 2x more. No complaints other then you have to remember to switch it off (switch is on the bottom), or battery life seems short. The battery supplied with the mouse lasted <2 weeks. If you want a cheap notebook mouse, it's a decent value for the money. Was this review helpful?

This wireless mouse is perfect, especially with the rebate offered on Buy.com. It works in Windows laptops without installing any software and no configuration. It also - and this is important for me - works perfectly with the laptops on which I run Linux (Ubuntu). No configuration needed - just plug it in and it works. This is especially important because many times running Ubuntu means there are problems with the mousepad - the cursor jumps all over the place all the time and it is very frustrating to use. With this mouse, you plug in the wireless connector, turn off the mousepad on the notebook and everything works flawlessly. Good job!! Was this review helpful?

I had doubts about wireless mouse since my last one was a battery killer. The V220 has definitely erased that doubt; It's been about 1 month of daily use and I'm still on my first battery! I like the ergonomic and slick design. Setup/customization was cake, although I can't get the left and right movement of wheel to work in Windows Vista. I would recommend this to all laptop users! This is my first wireless mouse and I absolutly love it!!! Why do I love it so much?
1.) I'm lonely
2.) My dad's wireless mouse on his computer is an old, VERY HEAVY, very large wireless that I just hated using.
3.) I don't like wires.
My new Logitech is great. I have a new MacBook Pro (running 10.5.2) and I plugged it in and started using it.
Another cool thing I like is when you put the receiver piece into the slot under the mouse, when not in use, it is grooved in such a way so it tuns off your mouse for you. When you slide it out it turns the mouse on!!! (Hmmm...Am I allowed to be typing this?)
The mouse itself fits in the hand very nicely and it's light weight. It looks cool too (I got the dark grey one) The side scroll is cool too. I usually use my track pad on my laptop to go side to side because it's a lot quicker than the mouse. It's still a neat feature though if it's your only option to go side to side with.
I've had it for about a month and haven't had to change the Battery yet. (One AA Battery) I always have AA Batts around so Batt life isn't to much of a concern for me anyways.
