For under 20 dollars, this is a great web-camera. Only problem I had so far is that it requires a lot of lighting to give good quality photo or video. The auto gain mode etc., dont work too well. If you want the best quality pictures or video, you need to adjust all controls manually. GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY good for web chats, especially if you can handle a lot of lighting to make it work superbly. Quality of the photo or video is no way near digital still camera or camcorder respectively(or far from it). However, for that price it lets you take shots, make small desktop videos and organize them well with the software provided with the package. Out of possible 5 stars, I would give 4-5 for ease of use, 3-4 for the quality of picture/video/; and 5 for the price. The quality is significantly much better than the cheap, small, laptop-attached cameras. The frames/second rate(~25-30) gets lowered in low light condition and quality deteriorates quickly. By no means expect it to do the job of simple camcorder or digital cam, each worth hundreds of dollars! Great addition to desktop.

I bought it for 18.98, for its price, I think I made a good bargain. If you only need to have a webcam disregard its quality, get this one. Otherwise, if you want good quality, go with the higher priced ones. I measured many features because I bought it, but still, expensive ones are better even though they have simliar specificatoins.
