If all the USBs are located on the left side of your laptop, just look for some other mice with longer cord or with bluetooth cordless. But it performs good anyway except the length of the cord! Was this review helpful?

Perfect size for a notebook computer, and the cord wrap-around feature is really neat for stowing the mouse in the computer carrying case.
