This mouse feels good in my hand, better than any that I have used. The wireless works perfectly. The control is exquisite. The volume control on the mouse is really neat. The email and the IM link do not work with my software, but they are to me a minor issue. The mouse can be programmed, which is a nice feature. I have used this mouse extensively for two weeks and the batteries that I installed are still going strong. Was this review helpful?

It's really a great mouse. It didn't require installing any driver or software with Windows XP, no click or rolling gear sound, precise pointer and works on any surface. Range is also very good; my kids can play mouse control PC games on TV by sitting on coach. Its a wonderful product Was this review helpful?

I love Logitech. Their mice and pretty much any peripheral are always of excellent quality. This mouse was awesome, but suffered from typical wireless lagging. Most people probably wouldn't notice, but this user is very particular. The buttons on the side were nice, but I never used the IM buttons. The wireless dongle fits nicely into the usb and is actually wireless, unlike many "wireless" mice. I ended up reselling this mouse only to buy the wired equivalent and now I'm pretty satisfied. Excellent mouse. Wireless is flaw less. No more cords in the way. Button layout is pretty good. Software could be a lil better. Was this review helpful?

this mouse is extremely good, i got it for ($..)with rebate, as soon as i plugged it into my vista computer, it started working, i tried installing the software that came in the box, but it was old and didnt work with vista, then, i downloaded it from the internet, it works great and i customized it a lot. a problem i had was it was a little heavy, but that is because my last mouse was really light and was bad, this mouse sleeps when my computer sleeps, i dont know how the email and messenger notifications work, but i think they should work fine, overall great product, i also got free shipping and it came in 2 days Was this review helpful?

I've found this to be one of the most comfortable mice. A great buy, considering the features vs. price. Logitech's SetPoint software allows for a lot of customization with button programming. I have not noticed exceptional battery life, but nothing too major. I would absolutely stay away from rechargeables with this mouse. I have not gone longer than 1.5-2 weeks with rechargeable batteries. I would definately recommend this mouse. I prefer it over my Logitech MX1000 sometimes. Was this review helpful?
1 of 1 customers found this review helpful. 5 of 5 2nd one worked Monday, May 14, 2007 Chris from New Port Richey, FL
Overall a great mouse. Especially like the fact that it turns off when the computer does and doesn't require me to do anything. The only reason it's not 5's all the way across is because the first one I received didn't work. The scroll up wheel didn't work but it scrolled down fine. Luckily the buy.com return process was excellent so other than a bit of a wait to get a new one, I'm quite pleased. Was this review helpful?

Love the feel - Just wish I could use the Logitech software. Seems that the Logitech software causes Kernel panics - if you are using a MACBOOK Pro. Logitech customer support is no help! They responded that I should check the their support site often for updates! No date for an update was given. Was this review helpful?
1 of 1 customers found this review helpful. 5 of 5 Great mouse. Saturday, April 14, 2007 Tony from Seymour, CT
Best mouse I've ever used in 15 years. Perfectly shaped and comfortable to use. Programmable keys are great for quickly closing screens, moving back & forward while web browsing, etc.,etc. Pointing accuracy is excellent as well. Mouse is a great value when on sale and with rebates, which is why I recently bought my 2nd for a different PC! Only drawbacks are that customed programmed keys don't always work with some programs and USB receiver sticks out and can easily be knock off or broken if not careful when using it on a laptop. 1 of 1 customers found this review helpful. 5 of 5 Great Product! Tuesday, April 10, 2007 Lynx from C'ville Va
Worked immediately on my XP system - nice to have a mouse plug/adapter for the usb wireless plug in too. I did add a usb extension to get a more direct line for the wireless connection which seemed to make it work flawlessly. Haven't had it long enough to comment on battery life.
Liked having all the programmable buttons but realize only the two side buttons are easy to use (though the others are handy, you have to look for them). I'm thinking Logitech might consider adding buttons on the other side of the mouse too. Was this review helpful?

I have been dreaming about the perfect mouse ever since microsoft intellimouse 2.0 went out of production.. this mouse is from a brand highly respected for its peripherals.
Its a an awesome mouse.. I would say I couldnt ask for a better mouse. The battery life is truly amazing, ease of use, build quality, strong link & accuracy all get A+.
if you have been nagging abt ur mouse for quite some time now, go ahead and get this logitech laser mouse & do urself a favor! Was this review helpful?
1 of 3 customers found this review helpful. 1 of 5 This mouse is terrible! Doesn't do it's job! Sunday, June 04, 2006 Hoon from Portland, OR
This mouse seemed okay for the first month. The battery really don't last long, but since I use rechargables, I don't mind. The two indicator button (email & messenger) still doesn't work properly as now (June 4, 2006), yes I do have most recend drivers and application installed. The worst part about this mouse is that it doesn't do it's job properly. The tracking lagges alot of times, I thought I had a bad surface on my desk. I tried it on white paper, several mouse pads, still are the same. I think since it is using laser technology, it shouldn't matter that much. My other regular mouses work fine. Logitech V200, microsoft wireless notebook mouse, and other wired ones always work fine. I don't know what to do now. It's been 5 months using this mouse. I paid $44 for a stupid mouse. My friend has the same mouse, and she is also complaining about this mouse, with same problem. Was this review helpful?

Awesome.. The mouse is cool.. Its sleek, light weight, wireless , SMART (it switches off when your PC is in standby or power off mode), LASER ( no need of those hopless mouse pads). It works in any surface (it works in the couch so good).
Its makes game playing, browsing, and general navigation very easy.
I REPEAT...THIS IS THE BEST MOUSE EVER...

I only got one of these because of the price after rebate. After using this mouse for about two months, I wish I would have bought one sooner. This mouse is great! Feels nice under your hand...accuracy is perfect...battery life has not been a problem for me...I have had NO bluetooth interference. Whether you need a corded or wireless mouse, this is a great choice for the price!!!
I originally got this for my "other" computer, but now use it on my main computer and using it on my laptop is as easy as plugging in the USB stick. Was this review helpful?
1 of 2 customers found this review helpful. 5 of 5 A few minor bugs Thursday, May 18, 2006 A Customer from Chestnut Hill, MA
It was a great mouse, and I like it very much. The possibility to choose the applications in which to apply some settings was very useful. A few minor things - it took a few hitches to get passed the fact that the software wouldn't recognize the mouse, therefore not letting me customize it. Also, since im using near other wireless devices, there has been a few minor problems. Overall, however, the mouse is great! Was this review helpful?

alright ive been using this mouse for almost a month now, so here is what i have to say about it
- this mouse moves as smooth as ice, the shape is very comfortable, ive got used to the buttons by now and i seriously love it,
somethings that i had problems with were, the battery light doesnt work and sometimes, almost once or twice a day, the mouse just stops working, but once i turn off the mouse power and turn it back on, its back to normal
thats the only problem ive had till now, otherwise i think its a good product, its definately not a bad buy Was this review helpful?

pro: The range is exceptional. about 10 meters, on my bed, I can turn on itunes, adjust the volume with this mouse. It almost run on any surfaces, even jeans or bed sheets.
cons: the scroll left/right sensor is not as smooth as the higher-end mouse. the programmable button software can't launch everything I want. Was this review helpful?
3 of 3 customers found this review helpful. 4 of 5 Firefox note Wednesday, March 22, 2006 A Customer from Mason, MI
This mouse works great, but the back and forward buttons don't work out of the box for Firefox browsing. They work for IE, but not FF. Make sure that you download the driver from the website, as the one included in the box is not the most current revision. Once I updated the driver, these buttons worked perfectly with FF, after a reboot, of course. Also, the instant messaging button seems pretty much useless; it never blinks when I get an IM. The email button is finicky at best, but I am using Outlook Express, so that may be the cause. Aside from inconveniences with the buttons, this mouse works perfectly! Was this review helpful?
2 of 2 customers found this review helpful. 5 of 5 Fantastic mouse Tuesday, March 21, 2006 Tom from Boston, MA
Even if I had to pay more I would buy this mouse. Ergonomics are stellar, but interoperability is what is the big selling point for me. In a time when nothing works at all, this mouse runs with no effort! I'm not using the software; the USB dongle makes the mouse look like a std HID device so all modern operating systems will recognize it and work with no extra effort. If you want to use all the extra buttons, you'll have to install the software, but for simple, fast, accurate mousing, you don't need it. The 2.4GHz radio is fantastic for this application, combining awesome reliability with quick, accurate response. Add in the superbly-executed battery save mode (which works so well you do not notice it). Was this review helpful?

This mouse is so nice I had to write a review. I got this for a new laptop and it is really sweet with all the extra features like "back" and "forward" and volume control. The best is the scroll sideways button. On top of this, it came fast with Buy.com's usual great speed. Was this review helpful?

The email/im buttons do not work at this time. Normal operations such as wheel-clicking links in Firefox (to open in a new tab) do not work.
The shape is kind of radical so try it in your hands at a store before buying. Was this review helpful?

this is a great mouse and frees up having an annoying wire. If they only made the scroll wheel a little lower or near the thumb area it would be perfect. Works great with video games. Was this review helpful?

I got the mouse for Christmas. I got it ready, installed the software and everything was great. After a month and a half, it died. It took over a week for Logitech Support to give me an answer on my question and I wasn't happy with the answer. I went to their web site did all the troubleshooting, replaced the batteries. Finally I contacted Logitech and after telling them I did all the troubleshooting and I wanted the address to send the mouse back so they could honor the warranty, they turned me back over to their web site for troubleshooting that I had already done. And this was repeated a couple of times. After a lot of frustration and various e-mails, their final reply was that I had to call customer support to get a ticket number to be able to send the mouse back. I really had a bad experience with Logitech. Was this review helpful?

I find this mouse to be perfect. A lot of people complain about the lights only working for certain programs, but I really don't need the lights so it's not a big deal. I like the fact that the mouse is quite light for a cordless mouse, and it fits well with tons of buttons, none of which are obtrusive. It tracks really well, and moves smoothly. Excellent mouse - responsive, smooth/smooth tracking, lots of programmable options for the buttons via the set-point software. Since I rarely use IM, I like the fact that I can reprogram the preset "e-mail" and "IM" notification buttons. I chose to reprogram one of the buttons to launch an application (I chose Outlook but it can be anything the user chooses) and with the second button I chose to open up my browser and connect to a specific website (instead of my usual home page). On-mouse volume controls are nice, but the small size of the single "+ -" volume button makes changing the volume slightly cumbursome (a small wheel would have worked better IMO). However the buttons can be reprogrammed whereas a wheel would not give as many options. OTH, maybe bigger "volume" buttons would have made the difference. Very happy with the product Was this review helpful? |
