I bought this because I liked the idea of waking up to a song of my choosing off my iPod every morning. This little alarm clock works great - plays the song I select at night, or whichever one is next in the queue, and the sound quality is pretty good. Now, let's get on thing straight - you are not buying a Bose sound device. This is a simple alarm clock that has decent sound quality - not tinny in my mind, but definitely not a sound station you can set out during a party or something. I use an Ipod Touch 1G for this unit and it works great. The speakers are pretty good. The Memorex radio tuner isn't bad but music from my ipod sounds better. I use AOL Radio on it a lot and it sounds great. The remote is the same size as the standard Apple Remote and its lighter. I have 2 small complaints. The remote looks and feels cheap so be careful with it. The radio tuner cannot save select radio stations, so you gotta find your favorite stations the old fashion way but the seek button is pretty quick. Was this review helpful?
